On July 6, the Traffic Detachment of the Yanqing Public Security Bureau, together with the District Urban Management Law Enforcement Bureau, the District Transportation Bureau, the Yongning Police Station and other departments, set up four joint investigation and control posts in Dayushu Town, Zhangshanying Town, Yongning Town, and Kangzhuang Town to strictly investigate and rectify illegal electric three- and four-wheeled vehicles.
At 8 o'clock in the morning, the reporter followed the law enforcement officers to the entrance of Shengshiying Village, Yongning Town, and saw that the law enforcement officers were conducting all-round and dead-end supervision of illegal electric three- and four-wheeled vehicles through card inspections and mobile patrols. There is an endless stream of vehicles on the road, and most of the car owners are on the road with complete procedures. However, there are still some illegal vehicles that appear from time to time, which brings hidden dangers to traffic safety.
During law enforcement, an unlicensed electric tricycle was stopped by law enforcement officers. The law enforcement officers explained to the parties the potential safety hazards that may be caused by the continued driving of unlicensed vehicles on the road, and in accordance with the provisions of Article 95 of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, the electric tricycles without motor vehicle license plates were detained. The parties agreed to the punishment and promised to go through the corresponding formalities in a timely manner.
In key road sections such as the entrance of Dayushu Village, Dayushu Town, and the entrance of Xizhuojiaying Village, Zhangshanying Town, law enforcement officers have carried out timely law popularization and punishment in response to the frequent occurrence of illegal electric three- and four-wheeled vehicles and the weak traffic safety awareness of drivers.
In two hours, the law enforcement officers in the joint investigation and control posts adopted the method of "education, warning, and rectification", seized a total of 10 illegal electric three- and four-wheeled vehicles, and punished 20 traffic violations such as not wearing safety helmets, driving in the wrong direction, and illegally carrying people.
"From now on, we will intensify law enforcement efforts and carry out a centralized joint rectification action on illegal electric three- and four-wheeled vehicles in the whole region to further purify the road traffic environment.
