Before the meeting, the participants inspected the cultivated land restoration project in Hefeng Village, Nanzhuang and the west plot of the second phase of the Yiyun Agricultural Products Trading Center in Jili Village.
In the cultivated land restoration project of Hefeng Village in Nanzhuang, you can see a piece of verdant greenery. According to the relevant person in charge of the Chancheng Branch of the Foshan Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources, the project is the first 100 acres of contiguous cultivated land restoration project in Chancheng District, which is restored from the fish pond, with a total of about 224 acres of cultivated land, which is currently the largest cultivated land map in Chancheng District.
The relevant person in charge of the Chancheng Branch of the Foshan Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources said that in view of the problem of cultivated land fragmentation, the work will be carried out from three aspects: the preparation of special plans for cultivated land protection, the promotion of comprehensive land consolidation projects in the whole region, and the annual assessment of permanent basic farmland.

Previously, the relevant plots of land in Geely Village illegally occupied about 1.85 acres, which was small but had a bad impact. At present, the rectification of the land has been completed, the covering soil on the hard bottom has been cleaned up, and the approval of agricultural conversion has been obtained to improve the land use procedures.

The theme of this year's National Land Day is "Saving Intensive Land Use and Strictly Observing the Red Line of Cultivated Land". The fragmentation of cultivated land is an objective reality in Chancheng District, and the two plots inspected that day show the difficulties of fragmented management, and the other shows the effective measures of Chancheng District in gradually solving the fragmentation of cultivated land and promoting the management of fertile land.
At the meeting, Chen Zhigang, director of the Chancheng Branch of the Foshan Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources, said that the implementation plan of the field chief system in Chancheng District has been officially issued on April 16 this year, implementing the "3+1" organizational system of districts, towns, villages and grid field chiefs, strictly implementing the same responsibility of the party and government for cultivated land protection, and strictly abiding by the 4060 acres of cultivated land protection target and 2001 acres of permanent basic farmland protection red line in Chancheng District.
Next, the natural resources department of Chancheng District will focus on guarding the red line of cultivated land protection, consolidating the foundation of food security, focusing on improving the system, strengthening supervision, improving the policy system of balanced occupation and compensation, and fully implementing the new mechanism of "national management of the total amount, provincial overall responsibility, and city and county implementation", and make every effort to promote the implementation of reform and deployment.

With the determination of "zero tolerance" and the hard measures of "long teeth", we will strictly curb the increase, pursue the stock to the end, promote the quality and efficiency of law enforcement supervision, and achieve a continuous decline in the new illegal land use, especially the illegal occupation of farmland, and the rectification of the stock of illegal land has achieved phased results.
