In order to further improve the emergency response capabilities of street flood prevention and drought control and geological flash flood disaster prevention and control, test the ability of emergency early disposal and rapid response, further run in the mechanism, test the plan, temper the team, and improve the ability. On July 5, Dengjingguan Street, Fushun County, organized the 2024 flood control and flash flood disaster evacuation and transfer drill of Dengjingguan Street at Shazui Wharf. Zhang Baitao, deputy secretary of the sub-district Party Working Committee and director of the office, Tao Fulin, minister of armed forces and deputy director of the office, and other team members, staff of sub-district organs, secretaries and staff of party organizations in each village (community), Dengjingguan Police Station, and Dengjingguan Community Health Center participated.
In order to ensure the smooth progress of the work, the drill working group is divided into a comprehensive coordination group, an early warning and response group, an emergency rescue group, a medical group, a logistics group, a public security and order group, and a support working group. Before the start of the drill, all the staff were in place in advance to prepare for the drill.
"Report to the commander, Dengjingguan Street 2024 flood control and flash flood disaster evacuation and transfer drill is ready, please instruct!" After Minister Tao Fulin reported to the commander of the sub-district flood control and drought relief headquarters, the drill officially began. The street emergency rescue team and emergency militia quickly assembled, immediately carried out the evacuation and transfer of the affected people, and immediately set up temporary medical points to provide timely treatment for the "wounded", and community staff and volunteers actively guided the residents to ensure the orderly and safe evacuation process.
Field crews performed safety checks on the infrastructure and quickly cut off power, gas and water sources that could trigger secondary disasters. During the whole exercise, all participating units and personnel worked closely with each other, carried out work in an orderly manner in accordance with the emergency plan, and successfully completed key drill subjects such as early warning release, personnel evacuation, wounded treatment and infrastructure safety inspection.
In the final stage of the exercise, doctors from Dengjingguan Community Health Center explained emergency rescue knowledge to everyone, taught cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and street emergency personnel and community workers took turns to conduct practical exercises. By learning emergency-related knowledge, everyone has a basic ability to respond to emergency work.
After the event, Zhang Baitao, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee and director of the office of the street, affirmed the flood control and flash flood disaster evacuation and transfer drill, and said that everyone should take the emergency work seriously and not be careless.
