Recently, 67 key projects in Tongnan District, Chongqing have been signed, started, completed and put into operation, with a total investment of 39.8 billion yuan, involving biomedicine, ecological and environmental protection, intelligent manufacturing, new energy, new materials and other fields. These projects have large investment, high technology content and strong driving ability, which have injected new momentum into the local expansion of modern manufacturing industry clusters and the promotion of high-quality economic development.

Tongnan District is located in the hinterland of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, and is the "main battlefield" for Chongqing to promote new industrialization and expand and strengthen the advanced manufacturing industry. Since last year, Tongnan District has taken the strong manufacturing area as the first strategy, closely aimed at the goal of "building an important advanced manufacturing base in central Chongqing", insisted on the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries and the cultivation and expansion of emerging industries, and laid out and developed modern manufacturing industrial clusters dominated by intelligent networked new energy auto parts, biomedicine, new energy and new energy storage. According to the data, in the first five months of this year, the total output value of industries above designated size in Tongnan District increased by 5.6%, the added value of industries above designated size increased by 6.9%, and 93 new science and technology enterprises were added.

The remanufacturing of auto parts is a bright spot in Tongnan industry. The reporter saw in the company's production workshop that after the scrapped vehicle was disassembled, the engine, transmission, door cover and other components with recycling value were sent to the remanufacturing production line, and after the manufacturing and processing of advanced technology, "waste into treasure" was realized.
Zhou Bo, chairman of Hongxi Automobile, said that the company has built a number of remanufacturing product lines such as engines, transmissions, bodies, and decorative parts, recycling more than 150,000 scrapped vehicles every year, with an annual output value of more than 500 million yuan. In addition, the company has also developed an intelligent car collection service platform "Chechao" based on big data technology, which realizes the digital operation of the whole process such as vehicle price estimation, vehicle condition inspection, dismantling management, and parts trading, which greatly improves the operating efficiency of the enterprise.
The development of Hongxi Automobile is a microcosm of Tongnan District's layout of the intelligent networked new energy automobile industry and the remanufacturing track of racing auto parts. Since last year, Tongnan District has aimed at the upstream and downstream of the auto parts remanufacturing industry chain, built a remanufacturing industrial park, set up a special investment promotion class, set up an industrial fund, and introduced special policies, attracting more than 20 leading enterprises in the "automotive aftermarket" to settle down, forming a relatively complete auto parts remanufacturing industry system.

When the reporter recently interviewed Chongqing Beisiyuan New Energy Co., Ltd., he saw that the workers were producing samples of battery pack products on the waste battery cascade utilization production line. In August last year, the company invested more than 2 billion yuan in Tongnan to build a new energy power battery recycling technology industrial park project. "We will lay out a new energy three-electric maintenance network training center, new energy vehicle fine dismantling, parts remanufacturing, power battery recycling and other business modules in Tongnan, build a 5G + full-link smart factory, and create a complete automotive aftermarket ecosystem, which is expected to achieve an annual output value of 5 billion yuan after being put into operation." Zhang Hongwang, chairman of Chongqing Beisiyuan New Energy Co., Ltd., said.
Wen Tianping, secretary of the Tongnan District Party Committee, said that the steady growth of domestic car ownership will provide sufficient development momentum and space for the automotive aftermarket industry. At present, Tongnan District is focusing on the automotive aftermarket field to lay out nine major sectors: second-hand car sales, power battery recycling, energy storage, driving school car rental, parts repair, precious metal refining, automobile remanufacturing, waste disposal, and big data application, so as to achieve "one car and nine eats" and build the country's largest automotive aftermarket base.
Implement intelligent transformation

Electroplating is an indispensable and important part of industrial production, but the electroplating process will produce wastewater containing pollutants such as heavy metals, which is difficult to treat. Chongqing GKO Environmental Protection Electroplating Industrial Park, located in Tongnan High-tech Zone, is an environmental protection park of the whole electroplating industry chain, with nearly 50 settled enterprises. When the reporter interviewed here, he saw that the electroplating wastewater with different compositions was transported to the wastewater treatment workshop through different pipelines, and after the combination of filtration, oil removal, diaphragm filtration and other processes, it became reusable reclaimed water. The heavy metals such as copper, nickel and chromium contained in the electroplating wastewater are converted into copper powder, chromium hydroxide and other industrial raw materials after treatment, realizing resource recycling and reuse.
"Technological innovation has given us a head start." Yang Hao, general manager of Chongqing GKO Environmental Protection Co., Ltd., introduced that the company has independently developed more than 30 core technologies such as "electroplating wastewater closed-circuit circulation device", so that heavy metal wastewater can be purified and recycled. At the same time, the company has also built a big data analysis platform and a smart management center for the smart park with the help of the Internet of Things, cloud computing and other technologies to realize the real-time collection and visual monitoring of the wastewater treatment process and industrial energy consumption of the electroplating enterprises in the park, reducing the cost of production and operation.
In recent years, Tongnan District has taken scientific and technological innovation and digital transformation as a key measure to drive the high-end, intelligent and green development of the manufacturing industry, adhered to the integrated deployment of innovation chain, industrial chain and talent chain, implemented the "double growth" action of high-tech enterprises and technology-based enterprises, and continued to promote the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation.

In April this year, the first phase of the production base invested and built by Chongqing Jicheng Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd. in Tongnan was officially put into operation. When the reporter recently interviewed the company, he saw that the pharmaceutical workshop was busy, and a number of product production lines were running in an orderly manner. Tao Jing, assistant to the chairman of the company, told reporters that the total planning of the production base covers an area of about 185 acres, and the main production products of the three workshops are thiophene acetic acid, thiophene acetyl chloride, thiophene ethanol and other 7 pharmaceutical intermediates independently developed by the company, which is expected to have an annual production capacity of more than 1,700 tons and an annual output value of about 200 million yuan.
Biomedicine is one of the leading industries in Tongnan. Since last year, Tongnan District has implemented the action plan to build a green API base in the western region, aiming at the three development directions of bulk APIs, characteristic APIs and patented APIs, adhering to cluster development, innovation-driven and digital empowerment, accelerating the upstream and downstream expansion and extension of the industrial chain, and striving to build the whole industrial chain of APIs. With the settlement and development of a number of high-quality biomedical enterprises such as Jicheng Biotech, Beisheng Pharmaceutical, and Duchuang Pharmaceutical, the biomedical industry system in Tongnan District has been continuously improved and expanded.

In the field of new energy and new materials, Tongnan is also remarkable.
