Ubisoft's competitive FPS game, Unbound League, recently released a major patch for Season 1, which enhances one of the game's abilities, "Spider Robots", but it may be a bit too strong at the moment, causing a lot of discussion among players.
The discussion was so heated that even the game's executive producer, Mark Rubin, had to personally respond to the player on social networks. In the post, he explained that when Unruly League first launched, the ability for players to deal with spider-bots wasn't actually allowed before the update, and wasn't fixed until Season 1, which left players unable to deal with them.
"There's also a bug where using melee attacks on them is much harder than originally planned," he says. SO WE WANT TO KEEP BUGS THAT PLAYERS CAN SHOOT IN THE FACE UNTIL WE FIX THE OTHER SPIDERBOTS. ”
He added that the removal of an "important coping mechanism" was unintentional, and that as part of the game's next "non-emergency patch", officials would restore the ability for players to shoot bots as they climb in their faces. He concluded, "Other changes to the Spiderbot will remain, including longer cooldowns, etc. ”
Ubisoft recently announced that the number of players in Unruly Alliance has surpassed 11 million.
