For all girls: you have to live the way you like

author:The moonrise sees the sun

After reading Elizabeth Gilbert's "City of Girls", I refreshed my view of sexual desire.

The story takes place in the 1940s, when Vivian, a wealthy girl, drops out of school and travels to New York alone to join her aunt, where she meets a group of women who have influenced her life.

This book is Vivian's review of her own life. She didn't try to teach you some philosophy of life, and she herself made a mess of life at the beginning. She just tells you the stories that happened to her one by one.

Many of the characters in the story are not perfect at all, and there will even be many annoying shortcomings. They have no rules to speak of, and self-discipline is almost impossible for them. But they are alive, they are unique, they have their own opinions on things, they take on their share of responsibility, they live the way they like.

Page by page, you can detect Vivian's growth and change. Slowly, she began to become assertive, began to have her own opinions on the things around her, and began to become independent. Seeing a character grow up so hard, you will be moved to tears.

Stories take place one by one, carelessly and without warning. Maybe that's what life is.

If you have time to read this book, you will see a different world, a different way of life, and a different view of life.
