Classic martial arts dramas are always unforgettable.
In 1985, the TVB drama "The Legend of the Eagle Shooter" was introduced to the mainland and became the enlightenment of mainland martial arts dramas.

Directed by Wang Wenjie, the story is adapted from Shan Tianfang's commentary of the same name, which is extracted from the Qing Dynasty's "Legend of the Heroic Heroes" series of novels.
Created by Shi Yukun, a disciple of the Qing Dynasty nobility, the Tale of The Tale of The Heroic Heroes and Five Righteousnesses, the Tale of the Heroic Heroes of the Qing Dynasty, is the founding father of Chinese martial arts novels.
Later, the modern scholar Yu Fan rewrote the first time, and changed the title of the book to "Seven Heroes and Five Righteousness", and re-published the preface. In the year of Guangxu Gengyin (1890), the Beijing Wenguang Building continued to engrave two sequels, "Little Five Righteousness" and "Continuation of Small Five Righteousness".
The merit of these two books is that they have seriously shaped the legendary figure of Xu Liang, the "White Brow Hero".
Shan Tianfang has a great preference for Xu Liang, and in his commentary "The Hero with White Eyebrows", he puts more ink on Xu Liang's legendary story.
The play reconstructs the character relationship and story line on the basis of the commentary, eliminating the defects of the inconsistencies in the story in the commentary, and also making the story content richer and more substantial than the novel.
First of all, let's talk about the difference between this drama and the novel review book -
Xu Liang, the "white-browed hero" in the novel, is the son of Xu Qing, the "pangolin", because he was born with two white eyebrows, known as "white-eyed eyebrows", and has strange nicknames such as multi-armed human males, three-handed generals, ugly ghosts, and Shanxi geese, only because his appearance is also very strange.
In the book, he has a large number of teeth, black teeth roots, a water snake waist, a face like a purple sheep's liver, and a face similar to a hanging ghost, and is a strange man who is ugly and ugly.
The play only retains the setting of "white eyebrows", its image is still very handsome, and the emotional intelligence is also very high, basically belonging to the personality type that everyone loves, such an adaptation makes Xu Liang become very cute.
Many of the characters and story settings in the play have been rewritten, making the important characters more prominent and the story more exciting.
For example, in the commentary, "Flying Witch" Long Yunfeng is a senior person of the predecessor, and she has become a young girl in the play; "Deaf and Dumb" is only a pair of dragon characters in the commentary, and the play has become a worldly master with strong martial arts.
Bai Yunrui, the son of "Golden Haired Rat" Bai Yutang, was given a more high-cold personality; and the temperament of the negative character of "Purple-faced King Kong" Wang Shun was even more obsessive.
Fang Shu'an, the villain small character in the commentary, became Xu Liang's apprentice in the play and is the most popular comedy character in the play.
Now that the TV series has been broadcast for 26 years, the actors who participated in the drama in that year have also changed a lot in their respective acting careers because of the success of the series.
