Loretta Young (6 January 1913 – 12 August 2000)
Lolitaire Young, an American film actress by birth, was the first Hollywood actress to successfully transition from film to television.
After her parents divorced, Lorita, who came to Hollywood with her mother, appeared as an extra in a silent film at the age of 4, "debuting" on the screen.
In 1928, at the age of 15, Lolitaire starred in her first film, Laugh, Clown, Laugh, and has since become a blockbuster star.
In 1947, she won the 20th Oscar for her outstanding performance in "Peasant Girl".
In 1949, she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress for "To the Stables.".
It wasn't until 1953, after shooting her last film, that she left the big screen and opted out of the film industry to develop in the television industry.
During her 25-year film career, Lolitaire Young performed a total of 88 films, working with almost all the big male stars of the same period.
