The Tang River channel has a long history of navigation, is a golden waterway connecting Henan and Hubei provinces, a transfer point between the south ship and the north horse, and is also an important part of the famous "Wanli Tea Road". Later, due to the siltation of the riverbed, the decline of the water level, and the rise of highways and railways, the decline of shipping, the Tang River was officially suspended in the 80s of the 20th century.
Tangbai River (Tang River) Shipping Development Project is a key project of the Ministry of Transport, Hubei Province and Henan Province in the "13th Five-Year Plan" and "14th Five-Year Plan" comprehensive transportation planning. Among them, the Tanghe Shuanggou Shipping Hub Project has a total investment of 1.4 billion yuan, which is constructed and managed by the Xiangzhou District Transportation Bureau of Xiangyang City, and the main project of the shipping hub is undertaken by CCCC Second Harbor Bureau. As the first hub project connecting the shipping channels of Hubei and Henan provinces in Hubei Province, after the completion of the project, the Tangbai River and the Tang River can pass through thousand-ton ships, ending the status quo that the two provinces are not navigable.
At the construction site of the project, the Tang River water crosses the construction site from north to south through a diversion nullah, dividing the project into east and west sides. The east side is the lock section, the tower crane in the deep foundation pit is transporting the formwork materials, and the construction of the upper and lower gates is busy; The west side is the sluice section, the bottom of the anti-flush energy dissipation facilities have been completed, 21 sluice piers lined up. Wang Yong, the project leader, said: "Our main construction contents include sluices, ship locks, traffic bridges, etc. The sluice can intercept and raise the water level of the upper reaches of the Tang River by 5 meters, provide navigation conditions for thousand-ton ships, and effectively regulate the water level in various areas of the Tang River basin to protect the Tang River basin from floods and droughts. ”
The sluice gate is a large-volume concrete structure of water conservancy projects. In order to prevent high-temperature cracking and low-temperature freezing and thawing of concrete, which affects the safety and quality of the structure of the sluice, the project management team actively carried out technical research, reduced the heating of hydration heat by optimizing the material mix ratio, and set up 3 layers of cooling circulating water pipes inside the bottom plate of the sluice gate, and prescribed a strong dose of "antipyretics" for the concrete in summer; In winter, the concrete is steam heated and warmed up, and then covered with a layer of quilt to insulate. The mass of the bulk concrete is well controlled, creating a "seamless suit" for quality engineering. This year, the project department has completed a total of 5,000 tons of steel bar binding and 90,000 square meters of concrete pouring, and has overfulfilled the underwater structure construction task before the flood season.
According to preliminary estimates, the Tang River shipping project after the completion of the freight is about 0.06 yuan/ton kilometer, which can save about 4 billion yuan in transportation costs for enterprises every year, save about 240,000 tons of standard coal in energy consumption, and reduce carbon emissions by more than 500,000 tons.
