This value is an idea of my performance, and I suddenly realized that this concept may come from an Indian movie "The Wanderer", which ends with the male protagonist accusing: "The son of a thief can only be a thief, and the son of a judge is always a judge", which may provide a very obvious footnote to my acting philosophy. Later, when I entered the actor's industry, I always thought, why did this person do this, instead of thinking that he was a bad person, I would do bad things, which was a starting point for me.
Back to Kim Ji-duk. He does make a few very stupid mistakes in the film, as if to put water on the agents, and I've been thinking about it. Because you can't talk to the director and the screenwriter that he shouldn't be so stupid. The question I have to ask myself is not why he is so stupid, but since he is so stupid, how can he sit in this position? As a confidant of the high section chief (Ni Dahong), and Zhou Yi (Yu Hewei) can also be regarded as brothers and brothers, everyone jokes about him, whether it is hi-hats, since he can enter this small circle, it means that his official rank is not low, not the lowest level of action personnel, so this problem has bothered me for a long time.

The café scene, the first few drafts of the script is a night scene, Zhou Yi went to the door of the cinema to leave a mark, turned around and came back to meet Kim Ji-deok, Kim Zhide asked, what are you doing here, he said my car is broken, and then the two people went to repair the car. However, the director raised the issue and said that everyone should brainstorm together. At that time, we also filmed a scene (which was not cut into the film later), Where Kim Ji-duk fired a shot to kill a person, and by the time the third shot was fired, the gun got stuck, didn't go off, and made up another shot. A secret policeman sitting in this position, is it stupid for him to make such a mistake? No, it was everyone acting, all acting hard, creating pressure on Xie Zirong, the last executioner, because he knew many details of this operation, and we wanted him to defect.
In "On the Cliff", although Jin Zhide, played by Yu Haolei, does not play much, he outlines the fate of this small person.
There is also an execution scene at the end of the film, which is the execution of Zhang Xianchen (Zhang Yi) and Kim Ji-deok. That scene was Lao Zhang's highlight moment, for Kim Ji-deok, he was just a scapegoat, so my performance was particularly simple, dragged to the execution, not even afraid, no expression. And film and television actors are not like stage actors, they can add a new understanding of the role in each performance, or some subtle changes, so that the actors can get different degrees of satisfaction.
