Analysis of the Red Scarf Incident from the Aesthetic Tradition.
Aesthetic construction is related to tradition (ideas, customs, habits, lifestyles). It doesn't matter if the new red scarf law ever existed, and whether it was possible to find pictures of important leaders wearing it. But the three-fold system has been around for more than 70 years and is absolutely mainstream, which constitutes an aesthetic tradition. Aesthetic traditions cannot be easily modified when they do not create obstacles to development. Just like a nation, you can't abandon your national costume just because modern clothes are comfortable. The aesthetic tradition encompasses historical emotions, historical memories, and historical symbols (a large number of graphics, films, films, and works of art, etc.), which itself forms part of what a certain group considers to be "beautiful". In the eyes of the vast majority of Chinese, the traditional method of the red scarf is subjective and beautiful. Therefore, the most difficult thing for people to tolerate is actually that the new system method destroys this "traditional beauty", and denies the past, confuses thinking, erases memories, and separates emotions.
However, the advocates of the new system of law did not effectively explain why they advocated the new system law and rejected the old system law in terms of beauty, comfort and sense of meaning. On the premise that there is no problem with the traditional system, what is the purpose of trying to forcibly replace it with a non-mainstream system? This requires further accountability.
