The Tibetan antelope, the "plateau elf", has recently started its annual migration to give birth.
The Tibetan antelope migration is one of the most magnificent migrations of ungulates in the world. Every year, female Tibetan antelopes from Qiangtang in Tibet, Altun Mountain in Xinjiang and Sanjiangyuan in Qinghai go to Zhuo Nai Lake in Hoh Xil to give birth and return to their original habitat with their young.
In recent years, the construction of national parks has effectively maintained the authenticity and integrity of the core distribution areas of key wild animals, effectively protected Tibetan antelope and other wild animals, and further optimized the habitat and migration routes of Tibetan antelope.
