On May 16, the Pingwang Township Social Work Station organized a publicity activity for the National Day for the Disabled with the theme of "Science and Technology to Help the Disabled Share a Better Life".
The activity was carried out in two forms: distributing propaganda color pages on the street and visiting households. During the event, social workers, staff of the Disabled Persons' Federation, volunteers, and social assistance workers explained the disability policy to the public, and how technology can help the disabled overcome physical disabilities and improve their quality of life. Leaflets were distributed to help the public better understand the disabled and call on them to give more care and love to the disabled and lend a helping hand when they needed help.
During the visits, the disabled said that such publicity activities gave them a clearer understanding of their rights and interests, and also felt the care and attention of the society.
