Recently, the Xixiang County Market Supervision Bureau has focused on the key work of unhealthy trends and corruption around the masses in the field of food safety, and has carried out in-depth centralized rectification around the campus and food vendors. The United County Education and Sports Bureau and the County Urban Management Comprehensive Law Enforcement Brigade have carried out a centralized rectification of food vendors.
The rectification action focuses on the surrounding areas of the campus, fixed points, scenic spots, and parks, and takes food vendors as the key objects, and comprehensively inspects whether the food practitioners publicize valid health certificates, whether the environmental sanitation is up to standard, whether the food raw materials exceed the shelf life, whether the certificates and tickets are complete, whether the employees wear masks, whether they wear special work clothes and hats according to the regulations, and whether the food sold in bulk is rainproof, dustproof, and fly-proof. At the same time, law enforcement officers actively publicized the "Food Safety Law", "Anti-Food Waste Law", "Shaanxi Province Food Workshop, Small Catering and Vendor Management Regulations" and other laws and regulations and food safety knowledge to operators and consumers, and further improved the legal awareness and safety awareness of the masses. Since the start of the rectification work, a total of 43 law enforcement officers have been dispatched to inspect 86 food vendors, including 34 food vendors around the campus and 52 food vendors in other areas. The law enforcement officers issued rectification opinions to the operators on the spot for the problems found at the scene, and required the rectification to be in place within a time limit.
In the next step, the Xixiang County Market Supervision Bureau will continue to strengthen the supervision and inspection of food vendors in key areas such as around campuses, fixed stalls, scenic spots, and parks, and actively cooperate with relevant functional departments to form a joint force for rectification, continue to increase the inspection of food safety of food vendors in the morning and night markets, strictly regulate food processing and sales behaviors, and focus on food safety knowledge training for employees, so as to effectively create a safe, secure and orderly consumption environment for the masses.
