Recently, a team of the Panyu Shatou Street Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Office carried out the investigation and rectification of potential safety hazards in outdoor advertising during the flood season, discovered and eliminated the existing safety hazards in a timely manner, and ensured the safety of outdoor billboard facilities during the flood season.

During the operation, the law enforcement officers focused on large-scale outdoor advertising, wall advertising, store signboards, and high-column billboards in the jurisdiction to ensure that there were no blind spots and dead ends, and to do a good job in outdoor advertising safety knowledge publicity to relevant units and individuals. The action group also urged all advertising companies and owners to conscientiously fulfill their responsibilities for the safety management of advertising settings, reinforce, maintain or update advertising facilities with potential safety hazards, and remove outdoor advertisements and signboards that cannot be rectified as soon as possible, so as to effectively eliminate potential safety hazards.

Demolition site

In this operation, a total of 28 outdoor billboards of various types were inspected in the jurisdiction, 7 outdoor advertisements and store signboards were urged to be maintained, updated and reinforced, and 12 potential safety hazards of outdoor advertising were eliminated (including 10 demolition signboards and 2 LED billboards, totaling 276.35 square meters).
