There are three communities in Xinting Community, Shuangzha Street, Yunlong Bay, Yunxi Bay and Yunjing Bay, with a permanent population of more than 11,000 people, more than 300 enterprises of various types settled in the surrounding Strait Yungu Industrial Park, and more than 2,000 employees.
However, the subway stations in the jurisdiction are far away, and it usually takes 15 minutes to walk to the nearest subway station, which has been a "trouble" for residents and office workers in the Strait City area for a long time.
"After the opening of Metro Line S3, we still have the trouble of traveling and waiting for the bus, can you help us reflect on the addition of some bus 'microcirculation' lines in the middle?"
At the beginning of last year, the Xinting community received a request from a resident. Residents admit that "being able to take a car when you go out and get off at the station" has become the urgent desire of office workers here.
After the joint planning of the Hexi Management Committee and the Public Transport Group, and with the support of the Xinting Community, the tram company conducted several investigations and analyses on the travel conditions of residents in the southwest area of Hexi, and finally decided to set up a microcirculation shuttle bus in the Strait City area with a relatively high occupancy rate on a pilot basis, so as to realize the accurate docking of buses and trams.
Starting from May 13, during the morning rush hour (7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on weekdays), residents can take a shuttle bus to the tram Longwang Street Station in as little as 5 minutes, seamlessly transfer to the tram, and reach the Yuantong subway station within 15 minutes.

(1) Line length: about 1.9 kilometers. The route of the line is tram Longwang Street Station (entrance 2 of the underground passage), → Xinting Street Station→ Shuangzha Road→ Longwang Street → tram Longwang Street Station (entrance 2 of the underground passage).
(2) Site setting: 5 temporary parking spots. They are Longwang Street Station, Yunjing Bay West Gate/Yunxi Bay East Gate, Yunlong Bay West Gate, Yunlong Bay North Gate/Strait Cloud Valley, and Longwang Street Yecheng Road Bus Station.
