The "Bright Classroom Plan" is jointly initiated by the Municipal Red Cross, the Municipal Education Bureau, the Municipal Health Commission, and the Municipal Red Cross Foundation, aiming to conduct vision screening for children, carry out eye protection lamp renovation for schools according to the screening situation, speed up the progress of the city's primary and secondary school classroom eye protection lamp renovation work, equip children with eye protection lamps, adjustable tables and chairs, and carry out eye protection popularization training and other activities to jointly protect the vision health of children and adolescents, so that every child can sit in a bright environment to learn and have a bright future.

Since its launch, the project has received extensive attention and strong support from all walks of life. The District Red Cross raised a total of 357,000 yuan, and the Municipal Red Cross allocated 357,000 yuan to renovate a total of 176 classrooms. Among them, 21 classrooms have been renovated in Hua'an School in Qingshanhu District, 71 classrooms have been renovated in Yifang School, and 84 classrooms have been renovated in Qingshanhu School, all of which have been installed as required. In the classrooms of these schools, the new eye-protection lights shine brightly, creating a comfortable and healthy learning environment for the children. Eyes are the window for young people to understand the world, and protecting their eyes is to protect their dreams and future hopes. In the next step, the Red Cross Society of Qingshanhu District will continue to increase the publicity of the "Open Classroom Project" public welfare project and expand the influence of the project, and at the same time, the Red Cross Society of Qingshanhu District will also sincerely invite caring people from all walks of life to join the ranks and jointly contribute to the public welfare cause of myopia prevention and control among adolescents.
