Xikang high-speed railway is an important part of the national medium and long-term railway network planning "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed rail channel in the package (silver) sea channel and Beijing-Kunming channel, the new main line is about 171 kilometers long, the design speed is 350 kilometers per hour, the line leads from the south end of the planned Xi'an East Station, crosses the Chanhe River, crosses the Qinling Mountains, passes through Zhashui, Zhen'an, Xunyang, and accesses the planned Ankang West Station, with 6 stations in Xi'an East, Taihe, Zhashui West, Zhen'an West, Tongmu (reserved) and Ankang West.

Xi'an East Railway Station
Xi'an East Railway Station is located in the east of the Ring Expressway in Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, and is a large-scale comprehensive transportation hub integrating high-speed rail, ordinary railway, subway and bus, with 13 stations and 27 lines.
The station building is designed with the design concept of "Qinshan Weishui, Silk Road Chang'an", and the roof adopts a diamond-shaped design with ups and downs, showing the magnificent momentum of "800 miles of Qinchuan". The façade uses a flexible arc shape to outline the fluttering and dancing momentum of silk.
Taihe Station
Taihe Station is located in Yingpan Town, Zhashui County, Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province, with 2 stations and 4 lines.
The station building is designed with the design concept of "Qinchu Station, Splendid Taihe", the architectural shape is integrated with the landscape, reflecting the regional scenery, and the stretched herringbone slope roof is "like a bird, such as a fly", showing the charm of traditional architecture. The overall stretch of the station building shows the harmonious beauty of the integration of regional history and culture with the natural environment.
Zhashui West Station
Zhashui West Station is located in Zhashui County, Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province, with 2 stations and 4 lines.
With the design concept of "Zhongnan Shouyi, Ecological Zhashui", the station building takes Zhashui Cave as the intention element, combines the simple style of modern architecture, and integrates the stalactites and stalagmite elements and textures of the cave into the design of the façade of the main station building of Zhashui West Station, showing the local natural geographical characteristics.
Zhen'an West Station
Zhen'an West Station is located in Zhen'an County, Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province, about 6 kilometers away from the existing Zhen'an Station, with 2 stations and 4 lines.
Relying on the vision of urban development, drawing inspiration from the ancient Xinglong Temple in Zhen'an, and using the architectural characteristics of the Tang Dynasty as the design vocabulary, the design concept of the station building outlines a stretched and wide roof outline. The solid and powerful columns and bucket arches in the front of the curtain wall support the eaves, forming a simple and stable traffic building image.
Ankang West Station
Ankang West Railway Station is located in Ankang High-tech Zone, Shaanxi Province, with 3 stations and 8 lines.
The design of the station building is intended to be "the spirit of the Han water is a river show, and the potential is to inherit the two veins of Qinba and Ba". The V-shaped entities on both sides of the station hall resemble the Qinba Mountains, and the diamond-shaped gradient windows on the entity resemble the sparkling Han water, and the buildings are also mountains and rivers, showing a beautiful scene of beautiful mountains and rivers in Ankang and the harmony of mountains and rivers.
After the completion and opening of the Xikang high-speed railway, the fastest train running time from Xi'an to Ankang will be shortened from about 3 hours to less than 1 hour, which will greatly shorten the time and space distance between the Guanzhong urban agglomeration and the Qinba Mountains in southern Shaanxi, improve the level of passenger and freight transportation services along the line, and help meet the transportation needs between Guanzhong and southern Shaanxi, which is of great significance to help the rural revitalization strategy and promote the economic and social development of the regions along the line.
