In the eastern area of Longquansi Town, Zhuanglang River, Yongdeng County, there is a "vanguard" who leads local farmers to the road of rural revitalization through industrial development, and he is Tang Zishan, a high-quality farmer student in Yongdeng County and the head of the Zishan Planting and Breeding Farmers' Professional Cooperative in Yongdeng County.
Tang Zishan, male, Han nationality, born in June 1997, a native of Yongdeng, Gansu Province, college degree, probationary party member, living in Dashuichi Village, Longquansi Town, Yongdeng County, was elected as the Secretary-General of the Yongdeng County Youth Federation in 2022, and was elected as a member of the Lanzhou Youth Federation in 2022, won the title of high-quality farmer in 2023, and was selected as the star of rural prosperity in Yongdeng County in 2023. In 2017, he returned to his hometown to start a business and took over the Yongdeng County Zishan Planting and Breeding Farmers Professional Cooperative, the cooperative has 131 members, a registered capital of 3 million yuan, a total of 3.3 million yuan of members, more than 10 million yuan in fixed assets, and a zero asset-liability ratio. In 2023, the cooperative will produce 30,000 tons of corn forage and achieve an income of 15 million yuan, slaughter 500 meat donkeys and achieve an income of 5 million yuan, purchase and process 4,000 tons of various crop straws, and achieve an income of 4 million yuan.
Often cherish the Sangzi complex and the pure heart
The homeland is difficult to leave, and the homesickness is long. In the autumn of 2017, Comrade Tang Zishan resolutely gave up the opportunity to look for jobs in the town and returned to his hometown, Da Lianchi Village. When he learned that his hometown is still planting wheat, flax and other crops as the main farming method, and the production is blind, extensive farming, meager income and other information, Tang Zishan carried out in-depth thinking, with the love of the land in his hometown, he finally decided to develop the plateau summer vegetable industry as a breakthrough, transfer 100 acres of land, and actively develop the plateau summer vegetable industry, he cooperated with the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the county introduction university, and the county agricultural technology center to comprehensively promote high-efficiency water-saving pipe irrigation engineering, soil testing and formula fertilization technology, and green prevention and control technology of crop diseases and pests. The hard work paid off, and the plateau summer vegetables were harvested that year, achieving a profit of 500,000 yuan, which laid the foundation for the development of the cooperative. Driven by the demonstration of the cooperative, the whole village of Da Lichi Village developed a plateau summer vegetable planting area of 500 mu, and the per capita income increased by 1,000 yuan.
Explore cooperative management and development
In 2017, he took over the Yongdeng Zishan Breeding and Planting Farmers Cooperative, transferred 1,000 acres of land, and realized the whole process of mechanized operation from planting to harvesting, which improved the high-quality development level of the industry and improved the output and quality of products. Tangzishan adheres to the development concept of "one person is not as rich as everyone", and unites and leads the villagers to take the road of cooperative management. Driven by his demonstration, the current forage corn planting area of Da Lichi Village has reached 5,000 mu, and the villages in Dongshan have reached more than 10,000 mu, with an annual output of 75,000 tons of forage corn, and the forage supply chain has touched Lanzhou, Baiyin and other areas in the province and some areas in Qinghai Province.
The cooperatives give full play to their own and industry advantages, actively explore the green recycling industry integrating planting, breeding and processing, and continuously lengthen the circular industrial chain of forage corn planting and processing, meat donkey breeding and straw comprehensive utilization, and increase the added value of agricultural products. In order to enable farmers to master the technology of forage corn planting as soon as possible, the cooperative provides technical services to farmers in many aspects. The first is to employ local talents and select experienced planting personnel from cooperatives to guide farmers' production. The second is to provide a platform for members to exchange experience, and the cooperative organizes members to carry out 2-3 experience exchanges every year, and actively solves problems for farmers through the role of technical experts to pass, help and lead. The third is to carry out technical training, led by cooperatives, to hold various types of technical training courses and lectures, to teach the planting technology and management experience summarized by members for many years to local farmers, to hold training courses 3 times a year, train 150 farmers, and distribute more than 2,000 copies of various technical materials. The fourth is to lead the members of the cooperative and farmers to go out to visit and study, and the cooperative organizes members and farmers to visit and study in other places 3-4 times a year.
Forever be the "vanguard" of rural revitalization
After the completion of the goal and task of poverty alleviation, the mainland's "three rural" policy has shifted from concentrating resources to support poverty alleviation to consolidating and expanding the achievements of poverty alleviation and effectively connecting with rural revitalization, and the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas and the modernization of agriculture and rural areas are the top priorities of the "three rural" work in the coming period. As an active member of the party, Tang Zishan knows what rural revitalization and agricultural modernization mean to the villagers, and he often says: "I am the leader of the cooperative in Da Lichi Village, and I want to find a way for farmers to get rid of poverty and become rich." In 2017, the cooperative invested 5 million yuan, transferred 50 acres of land, and built a high-standard meat donkey farm. Introduce 300 meat donkeys from Liaoning and Shandong, develop special meat donkey breeding industry, take the opportunity of deepening rural reform, give full play to their own and industry advantages in accordance with the driving model of "cooperatives + village collectives + poor households", actively explore the circular economy of planting, raising and processing, and continuously lengthen the circular industrial chain of forage corn planting, processing, meat donkey breeding and organic fertilizer production, and increase the added value of agricultural products.
As a probationary party member, Tang Zishan has never forgotten to consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation in Dashuichi Village and rely on the development foundation of cooperatives. In accordance with the idea of "farmers follow capable people, capable people follow the industry, and industry follows the market", 3.0675 million yuan of poverty alleviation funds for the development of special financial industries in 8 villages in mountainous areas were absorbed, and dividends were distributed according to the proportion of 8%, so as to promote 238 poor households with 674 people to directly increase their income by 245,400 yuan, and the per capita income increased by 364 yuan. In response to the call of "strengthening the village collective economy", the cooperatives relied on the forage, meat donkey and beef cattle industries to absorb 2.85 million yuan of village-level collective economic development funds from Da Lichi Village and 7 surrounding villages, and distributed dividends according to the proportion of 6%, and the collective economic income of 8 villages increased by 171,000 yuan, realizing a prosperous industry and an increase in village income.
As the son of a farmer, Tang Zishan benefited Sangzi, actively promoted the implementation of rural reform, and adopted the model of "village-level land bank (farmer) + business entity (base) + village collective" to drive farmers to participate in rural reform through land shares, capital shares, labor service shares, etc., revitalizing sleeping assets, using all kinds of funds, and activating endogenous power. In the production and operation of the cooperative, farmers have invested 3,121 people in 914 households, 5,000 mu of land, 600,000 yuan of capital and 10 fixed labor force shares.
