Case review
On April 30, the Nanle County Public Security Bureau received a report from the public, saying that the welding machine wire, cable and other items placed at the construction site were stolen, worth more than 10,000 yuan.
After receiving the police, the Nanle County Public Security Bureau immediately launched an investigation, due to the remote path of the crime and the complex environment of the construction site, it brought a lot of resistance to the investigation and handling of the case. After on-site investigation, the police retrieved the surrounding monitoring of the case, and visited the "carpet" touch, and soon found a suspect vehicle, and successfully locked the suspects Liu Moumou and Zhang Moumou.
On May 7, the police successively arrested two people, including Liu Moumou and Zhang Moumou, and seized the vehicle and tools of the crime at the scene. After the two arrived at the case, they confessed to the crime of stealing the company's cables.
At present, Liu and Zhang have been criminally detained, and the case is under further investigation.

1. Where the theft of cables and wires is relatively large, and the crime of theft is constituted, a sentence of up to three years imprisonment, short-term detention or controlled release is to be given, and/or a fine; Whoever steals a cable in use, constituting the crime of destroying electrical equipment, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than ten years.

Article 265:Where telecommunications equipment or facilities are used for the purpose of making profits, such as stealing others' communication lines, copying others' telecommunications numbers, or clearly knowing that they are stolen or copied, are to be convicted and punished in accordance with the provisions of article 264 of this Law.
Article 264:Whoever steals public or private property, where the amount is relatively large, or who commits multiple thefts, burglaries, thefts with a murder weapon, or pickpocketing, is to be sentenced to up to three years imprisonment, short-term detention or controlled release, and/or a fine; where the amount is huge or there are other serious circumstances, a sentence of between 3 and 10 years imprisonment and a concurrent fine is to be given; where the amount is especially huge or there are other especially serious circumstances, a sentence of 10 or more years imprisonment or indefinite imprisonment is to be given, and a concurrent fine or confiscation of property.
