Shi said that the heart is ironclad, and I am willing to step forward from the beginning

"Gray face, oily hands, and full of smell" is everyone's impression of the repairman, and it is also my daily state when I work.

In the 20 years since I joined the army, I have been with the iron armor every day, and "looking, hearing and asking" for them is my biggest hobby. Bolt twisting, sheet metal correction, fusing welding, these countless repeated actions always keep coming to my mind and gradually turn into instinct.

"Practice makes perfect" has made me a great achievement in this position, and I have also become an "ironclad military doctor" in the eyes of others. I remember that when the new equipment was first installed, the superiors asked for the willingness to change the guard, the company commander looked at me, and my comrades-in-arms also looked at me, which made me both proud and worried.

I repaired wheeled equipment for 15 years, and suddenly changed the guard to armor repair, and everything meant to start from scratch from "big guys" to "little whites".

Many comrades-in-arms care about me, "Are you tired of learning from scratch when you are older?" "Can't you learn, don't you regret smashing the signboard?" I will indeed regret the wrong choice, but I am more worried, if no one makes changes, how can I guarantee equipment training in the future? From that day on, I put away all the certificates and honors in my past and started a new military career.

Making a decision is a moment, but it takes perseverance to make a commitment. Although the principle of the two types of equipment is the same, but the parts and structures are very different, the first time I participated in the theoretical assessment, I made a joke that the oil and water roads were wrong, and for the first time in 20 years, I hung up the course.

This did not break my resolve, in order to solve the question "What is armored equipment?" "With what?" "How to fix it?" For these problems, I worked overtime to study the theory of armored chassis repair, studied pipelines, memorized procedures, and memorized parameters, and I would not find relevant professional books by myself, and if I didn't understand, I would ask the old squad leader with strong professional ability and rich experience for advice, until the problem was understood, I don't know how many notes I took and how many pairs of gloves I worn.

Every time I go out, it is a practice field for me to test the theories I have learned, and the more difficult the problem, the more excited I become. In the past year, my professional level has been greatly improved, and I have participated in a number of tasks and led the team to complete the certification of the minor repair ability of a new type of armored equipment.

Last year, a certain military contest was carried out in the Gobi Desert, where there were heavy winds and sands, high temperatures, drought and little rain, and the difficulty of equipment support had risen sharply. In the past three months, I regularly taught maintenance and repair techniques to the use detachment, organized two rounds of maintenance and maintenance every day, and looked and touched every part of the equipment, so as not to miss a detail or a problem. Even so, every training and every competition, my heart is always carried, and I am ready to repair at any time.

In order to ensure the smooth dispatch of equipment, we riveted the front line of support for many days, and at the end of the mission, many people were so tired that they sat directly on the ground. That's really our duty as a mechanic – to make sure every piece of equipment is kept in the best possible condition.

My 20-year military career has taught me that there are no unimportant positions, only people who do not value themselves. No matter what position we are in, we must do a line, love a line, drill a line, and refine a line. In the future, I will cherish my time more, study my own duties, and continue to pursue my military value.
