WEY Mocha Hi4 was finally officially launched, and the final guide price was determined to be 238,800 yuan.
Compared with the price of the old car, the price has been increased by 7,000 yuan, but the old model is front-wheel drive and the new model is four-wheel drive, and a slight increase in the price is also acceptable; at the same time, the new car provides a number of preferential programs, such as a discount of 5,000 yuan (5,000 yuan deducts 10,000 yuan for car purchases) before June 30.

- Other brands are replaced with a subsidy of 10,000 yuan

Counting the replacement subsidy, the minimum discount is 15,000 yuan, and the maximum discount is 35,000 yuan, as for the old vehicle replacement subsidy, the fuel vehicles with the national III emission standard and lower standards need to be scrapped, or the new energy passenger vehicles registered before April 30, 2018 (including the day), if there are vehicles that meet the standards, the preferential range can be further increased.
Therefore, the actual price of the new WEY Mocha Hi4 is lower than that of the old car, but whether it is attractive or not is another matter.
Interpretation of the model
Wei brand Mocha Hi4 is a medium-sized SUV, with a body size of 4881*1960*1690 mm and a wheelbase of 2915 mm. However, this car is only available in a five-seater version, and there are six- or seven-seater cars that you will have to look at other cars just if you need them. The suspension system of the new Mocha has not changed, it is still the front MacPherson and rear multi-link independent suspension, and the new energy vehicles of the same level mostly use the front double wishbone independent suspension, and the front suspension standard of Mocha is not high.
The all-new all-wheel drive system uses a 4DHT (four-speed hybrid transmission) with dual front and rear motors, with a maximum power of 80 kW for the front motor and 150 kW for the rear motor, which is the main difference compared to the Hi4 four-wheel drive system used by the Haval brand, which is 10 kW higher than the front motor and 4 DHT with 2 DHT. The engine is still 1.5T, with a maximum power of 125kW, and this hybrid system can drive the Mocha Hi4 to break 100 in 4.7 seconds.
The performance of the new Wei brand Mocha Hi4 is still very strong, but the strength of domestic hybrid four-wheel drive vehicles of the same level is generally not weak.
So it is still necessary to take a look at the configuration, the new model has L2 level intelligent assisted driving system but is not equipped with lidar, the high-speed navigation system is optional, the cost of the optional package is 15,000 yuan;
The comfort configuration is decent, the leather seats support front heating and ventilation, the leather material and the front seat massage function are also optional, the cost is 5000 yuan; The sound system uses speakers of the Yan Fei Lishi brand, which is 12 channels; The automatic air-conditioning system is relatively comprehensive, equipped with air purification, filtration, negative ion generator and air quality monitoring system.
Summary:
Compared with the old model, the new Wei brand Mocha Hi4 has greatly improved its strength, and the front-wheel drive to four-wheel drive is the biggest progress, but there is no shortage of four-wheel drive options in the same class of cars; Therefore, the product power of this car is not the top of the same class, and it is not so simple to increase sales. As for how to evaluate the new design concept, it is a matter of opinion, and the author's personal feeling is that it is more avant-garde.
The monthly sales of the old Wei brand Mocha PHEV in the past six months are in the triple digits, and the sales volume in April is 229 units, and the sales performance of the new model will still need to be verified through May and June.
