More than 90% of the teachers of the "Nanjing University Department" composed of 41 teachers who graduated from Nanjing University have a graduate degree or above, and 100% have education and teaching honors at or above the municipal level, and are responsible for teaching English, Chinese, mathematics, economics, TOEFL and other key subjects in primary school, junior high school, high school and international high school.
Influenced by the school motto of Nanjing University, "Honesty, Simplicity and Majesticness, Encouragement and Diligence", 41 teachers have become practitioners of the school motto of "Honesty, Sincerity, Diligence and Benevolence" and the educational goal of "Fitness and Sincerity, Honesty and Benevolence in the Future" in Jinzhong Hexi, and have cultivated batches of outstanding Hexi teenagers with their solid professionalism and lofty ideological character.

Jinling Middle School has a long history with Nanjing University, and the predecessor of Jinling Middle School was the Huiwen Academy, which was founded in 1888.
In 1892, Huiwen Academy was founded with a university hall, a higher school hall, a middle school hall, and a primary school hall, and the middle school hall was called Chengmei Hall, and later developed into the middle school affiliated to Jinling University, which is the predecessor of today's Jinling Middle School.
In 1910, Huiwen College and Hongyu College merged to form Jinling University, the predecessor of today's Nanjing University.
Today, the school motto of "Sincerity, Truthfulness, Diligence and Benevolence" of Jinling Middle School was put forward by Chen Yuguang, the famous principal of Jinling University.
It can be said that the two schools have the same origin and are in the same lineage.

In 2020, Nanjing University incorporated Jinling Middle School into Nanjing University Education Group and listed it as "Nanjing University Jinling Middle School". Jinling Middle School Hexi Branch has a further relationship with Nanjing University.
On January 20, 2024, the "Signing Ceremony for Cooperation in the Cultivation of Top-notch Innovative Reserve Talents" was held at Nanjing University-Jinling Middle School Hexi Branch, and the two schools signed the "Cooperation Agreement on the Cultivation of Top-notch Innovative Reserve Talents" on the spot. The two sides reached a cooperation framework agreement on early training of top-notch innovative talents, research, student practice, teacher training, and resource sharing.
Prior to this, Nanjing University also awarded Jinling Middle School Hexi Branch the honor of "Nanjing University High-quality Student Source Base".

In terms of teacher training, the "Famous Teacher Program" training project and the "Future Competent" Good Teacher Team Building Seminar signed a cooperative training agreement with Nanjing University, and 68 teachers went to Nanjing University to carry out in-depth learning.
In terms of talent co-education, Jinzhong Hexi sends a large number of outstanding students to Nanjing University every year; Every year, high school freshmen will be organized to walk into the campus of Nanjing University and participate in the first-class discipline special camp experience activities of Nanjing University, so as to experience university life in an immersive and all-round way.
