At about 8 o'clock on May 14, near Liulingou Village, Liyang Town, Heshun County, an old old car suddenly caught fire. After receiving the alarm, the Heshun County Fire and Rescue Brigade rushed to the scene to deal with it, and finally successfully controlled the fire.
After the fire rescue personnel arrived at the scene, they saw an old car parked in the middle of the village road, and the body had been engulfed by the fire. On the way to the firefighters, some enthusiastic people used cart fire extinguishers to extinguish the fire, but the fire was too big and the open flame was not extinguished.
According to the situation at the scene, the fire rescue personnel quickly dispatched a water cannon to extinguish the burning vehicle, and about 10 minutes later, the open fire was extinguished. Firefighters continued to cool the electric vehicle, after 15 minutes of disposal, the temperature of the electric vehicle dropped to a safe limit, firefighters again used a dry powder fire extinguisher to cover the position of the car battery with dry powder, and cut the line connected to the battery with insulating shear pliers to prevent re-ignition.
At present, the cause of the fire is under further investigation.
