On May 12, at the electric drive fracturing site of LGPC2-10 well group of Shenfu Branch of China United Coalbed Methane Co., Ltd., the first gas-fired power generation all-electric drive fracturing well platform in deep coal seams in China was successfully started.

It is understood that 5 straight directional wells + 10 horizontal wells are deployed on the LGPC2-10 well platform to maximize the volume of reservoir transformation and effectively support the fracture network at all levels through large-scale volume fracturing technology, so as to realize the efficient development of deep coalbed methane. At present, all the fracturing equipment of the LGPC2-10 well platform has been electrified, and it is the first deep coalbed methane electric drive integral fracturing well platform in China, with LNG as the energy source, 20 gas generators to drive 10 electric fracturing pumps and 2 electric sand mixing units, and the construction displacement can reach 22m³/min.

"Compared with traditional diesel-driven fracturing units, electrically driven fracturing units have significant advantages in terms of economy, environmental protection, noise control and stable performance. The electric fracturing process was used to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 2,200 tons, equivalent to 1,000 tons of carbon emissions from coal combustion in just one to two months during fracturing operations. Chen Guanghui, head of the completion of the Shenfu branch of CNOOC Zoomlion, said.

The wellpad uses a domestic modular gas generator set to provide power for the electric drive fracturing equipment, and the construction process of "all-gas power generation + all-electric fracturing" is realized for the first time.
