The biggest "opponent" of Shanhai T5 is not an ordinary SUV, but the tank 700, which is known as "China's hard-core off-road". These two cars are equal in positioning and size, both belong to medium and large hard-core off-road SUVs, and the exterior design also adopts a tough "mecha" style.
Strength showdown, can Shanhai T5 overpower the "tough guy" tank 700?
Although Shanhai T5 and Tank 700 are both positioned as medium and large hard off-road SUVs, there are still some gaps in specific parameters. Another parameter to watch out for is mileage. Official data shows that in the state of full fuel and full power, the mileage of Shanhai T5 can reach an astonishing 1400km. And this data of the tank 700 is 1200km, which is a bit "powerless" in comparison. In actual use, the aeronautical performance of these two cars still needs to be further tested.

Judging from the information released so far, Shanhai T5 has done a good job in this regard, with a roof platform, spotlights, front winch, etc. The tank 700, as an "old-timer", is naturally very luxurious in this configuration.

Jietu attaches great importance to this, not only in Shanhai T5 on a large scale of the use of black technology such as LCD large screen, but also specially launched the "smart life" system. Price is also a factor that cannot be ignored. At present, the pre-sale price range of the tank 700 is 38-550,000 yuan. The specific price of the Shanhai T5 has not yet been announced, but as a brand new model, it is likely to "tell some stories" in pricing. If it can be cost-effective, it will be its biggest "killer feature".
The Jietu Shanhai T5 is undoubtedly a very good hard-core off-road SUV, and it is expected to become the new "king" of this segment. But to really do that, it also needs to be superior in terms of actual performance, giving consumers a tempting enough reason to abandon the "old" tank 700 in favor of the "upstart".
