The escort asked the reporter about the patient's symptoms in detail: "This hospital is a hospital specializing in orthopedics, has the patient suffered a lumbar injury, is it a lumbar disc herniation or lumbar spine injury, has he done an MRI locally?" ”
After the reporter replied one by one, the escort said: "Now that we know each other, I can let you take a little less detour." You prepare the local MRI images and reports in advance, and we can solve the problem by hanging a number to look at the lumbar spine. ”

The reporter provided the patient's relevant information and paid a service fee of 500 yuan, and received an SMS verification code from the designated hospital a few minutes later. After the reporter provided the verification code to the escort, he soon received a text message and registration list for the successful appointment, and the time, department, and attending physician were consistent with the communication with the escort in the early stage.
In other words, when the official system showed that the doctor had already made an appointment, the escort could still register smoothly after some operations.
Early the next morning, according to the requirements of the accompanying doctor, the reporter used the patient's ID card to apply for a Beijing medical pass card at the outpatient office, and paid 60 yuan on the self-service machine to get the treatment number, and met with the doctor at about 11 o'clock in the morning. The reporter asked how to hang up the number, and the other party replied: "The expert number is too difficult to hang up, we made an appointment online more than half a month in advance, and the normal number has long been gone, this is still an added number, I can't see it in the morning, I have to wait until the afternoon." ”
The reporter noticed that the display of the plus sign on the calling table was different from the normal appointment, and there would be an additional "plus" after the patient's name. The reporter compared his registration list with the registration list of patients who grabbed the number through normal channels, and found that the form was the same, and there was no word "plus".

This behavior not only violates the rules of the market, but also violates the relevant regulations of the state to crack down on scalpers and reselling hospital numbers.
Deng Liqiang, executive director of the China Health Law Society and deputy director of Beijing Huawei Law Firm, pointed out that some escorts have been active in hospitals for a long time, and they are often able to gain insight into some internal mechanisms of hospitals, and even use some improper means to interfere with the normal order of medical treatment.
"By preempting the number source and taking advantage of management loopholes, they made the number source that should have been booked by patients quickly transfer to them, and resold it at a high price in a short period of time." Deng Liqiang believes that this kind of behavior of using hospital resources for personal gain is undoubtedly a serious damage to the order of medical treatment, and should be clearly defined as a "scalper" behavior.
During the interview, some people in the industry admitted frankly that the entry threshold for escorts is low, there is a lack of unified and professional management, and the quality of service is uneven. With the increase in the scale of the escort market, some "scalpers", "medical trusts" or medical representatives also practice marketing in the name of escort and disrupt the medical order, so it is necessary to standardize. After clarifying who will regulate and who will punish, the standardization and professional development of escorts will solve a major problem.
The experts interviewed are also concerned that the existence of the profession of escort makes it more difficult to distinguish compared with the past crackdown on "scalping" behavior.
Deng Liqiang said: "'scalpers' reselling the medical number can be collected and cracked down by the public security organs in the process of trading, while the escort is often difficult to define its illegal nature, because the online real-name appointment method has been more common, the current social attention to the 'scalper' reselling behavior has been reduced, which to a certain extent affects the crackdown on illegal acts in the escort industry." As a public institution, the security department of the hospital does not have the ability to enforce the law externally, so cracking down on the illegal acts of the escort profession requires the active action of the relevant departments. ”
