A horrific incident was detected in Chonburi Province, Thailand: police found a human body wrapped in concrete inside a 200-liter barrel. The barrel is located at the bottom of the Map Phrachan reservoir in the Nong Prue area of Banglamon district. The body was found on the night of the 11th and is suspected to be the remains of a 34-year-old South Korean man who is missing.

On May 3, Eui Jong Roh was reported missing, triggering a massive search. After receiving the coordination of the police of the 3rd Substation of the Metropolitan Police Department, the divers of the Chonburi Pattaya Menmen Altar Foundation finally found the above black box in an area about 2 meters from the shore and about 3 meters deep after nearly 1 hour of searching, and took up to half an hour before bringing it to the shore.

After opening it, the police found it filled with cement and found the body of the South Korean man they were looking for at the bottom. The case took a sinister turn after it was discovered at the scene that all of the victim's fingers had been cut off, which the police believe was done to make identification more complicated.

It is understood that the South Korean man's name is Eui Jong Roh, about 30-35 years old, 170 cm tall, and was put in the above-mentioned black plastic box after being brutally murdered. The case was based on the fact that the South Korean man was killed one week ago in the Makkasan police station in Bangkok's brilliant district, after which his family went to the Khlong Tan police station, the police station where he lived.

He also threatened to kill Lu Yizong if he did not transfer the funds before May 8. The South Korean embassy immediately filed a complaint with the Khlong Tan Police Station, and the Metropolitan Police Department (MPB) joined forces with the Chonburi Police Department to investigate. The police were able to trace the source of Bang Lamung's LINE call.

Further investigation revealed that the man entered Thailand on April 30 this year, but investigators have not yet revealed his place of departure. His Thai wife reported that on May 2, the couple spent a night at a nightlife venue in the RCA Club area. Roh was reportedly abducted by two South Korean men as he left the premises around 2 a.m.

Through an extensive examination of CCTV footage, investigators traced the suspect's tracks. Found a rental house in Banglamong County, about 3 km from the reservoir. The footage further shows that the suspect changed the vehicle to a white pickup truck. Subsequently, they were seen buying a bucket from a plastic warehouse a kilometer from the crime scene.

The shopkeeper, Nittaya Chanprung, told police that on May 3, a foreigner driving a white pickup truck bought a large plastic bucket, nylon rope and scissors. The customer appeared calm and did not raise any suspicions. According to the Bangkok Post, security cameras at the store captured images of the suspect and handed them over to investigators.

Police revealed that they knew the identities of the two suspects. One of them managed to flee the country on 9 May, while the other remains at large in Thailand. At present, the police are working hard to track down the suspect.
