Recently, Mercedes-Benz unveiled a facelifted AMG "G63" in Europe, an upgraded version of its high-performance SUV model Mercedes-Benz G-Class.
In terms of power, the all-new AMG "G63" is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine with a maximum power of 585hp at 6000rpm and a peak torque of 86.7kgm/2500-3500rpm. It is matched with a 48V mild hybrid system, and the biggest role of this electric motor with a power of 20hp and 20.4kgm torque is to assist the internal combustion engine to obtain strong explosive power in a short time.
Matched with the AMG 9AT gearbox, the drive mode is still the classic 4WD "4MATIC". The front and rear torque distribution is 40:60, but the torque distribution can be changed freely according to the road conditions.
Thanks to the above powertrain, the all-new AMG G63 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and has a top speed of 220 km/h. With the addition of the AMG Performance Package, the 0-100 km/h acceleration time can be increased to 4.3 seconds and the top speed can be increased to 240 km/h.
In terms of appearance, AMG's classic longitudinal blinds are very eye-catching, and the dark color scheme and stainless steel inserts are very prominent in the tough guy temperament. Together with the adaptive multi-beam LED headlights, 84 individually controllable illuminating units are ready to light your way.
In terms of interior, the classic Nappa leather and AMG steering wheel and other accessories are naturally arranged in place, coupled with the assistance of piano paint, the design theme of interior and exterior integration is still quite well grasped by the designer.
