With the opening of the first low-altitude economic carnival in Chongqing Dazu in Longshui Lake Tourist Resort, "low-altitude economy" has also become a major business card of Longshui Lake.
For a long time, Dazu District of Chongqing has been committed to creating a cultural and tourism pattern of "the sun and the moon shine and the stars twinkle". Longshui Lake is a beautiful scenery business card with Dazu stone carvings that has become the "double bib" of Dazu cultural tourism. In the fifties of the last century, the artificial lake of the Dazu people during the water conservancy period is famous for "being comparable to the beauty of Xizi", and the Dazu people say that "the flowers of Longshui Lake" are also because of the "patterns" of Longshui Lake.
Longshui Lake is the first batch of national water conservancy scenic spots, the reservoir area is vast, the water area is more than 5,300 acres, standing on the Longshui Lake cruise ship pier and overlooking the railing, you can see that the lake area is staggered and horizontal, 108 pine forests cover the sun, flowers and lush natural islands are dotted among them, there are egrets flying over from time to time, more than 20 kinds of rare birds ripple in the meantime, and you can see the ecological and cultural background of Longshui Lake.

"Adhere to the cultural and plastic tourism, tourism and culture, and promote the in-depth integration and development of culture and tourism." The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out the direction for the development of Longshui Lake. The currently planned Longshui Lake Tourist Resort covers an area of about 25.2 square kilometers, with a total planned investment of 38 billion yuan for project construction, of which more than 8 billion yuan is invested in tourism projects and infrastructure.
At present, the overall planning of Longshui Lake adheres to the principle of "great protection, clever utilization, and micro-development", digs deep into the "landscape" resources of Bayue Mountain and Longshui Lake, and plans 6 series and more than 60 projects such as vacation sightseeing, sports and leisure, ecological health care, creative night tours, research and practice, and theme festivals.
How to play Longshui Lake? In addition to recuperating in the nature of mountains and rivers and finding fun, Longshui Lake Hot Spring Water World Theme Park, scenic walking trails around the lake, water amusement projects, Songhe Island Outdoor Sports Park and other projects are also good places for tourists.

With a total length of 14.9 kilometers, the Longshui Lake Landscape Roaming Trail is set up with 30 unique landscape nodes, including ecological cycling paths, lake parks, bird watching covered bridges, wetland bird islands, wedding romantic walking paths, sports and fitness trails, natural water platforms and other supporting facilities, attracting many nearby residents to come for walking, running, walking, watching the "slanting sunshine and evening sunshine" and "Pinghu Falling Geese", and enjoying the natural and tranquil beauty of "two rivers sandwiching mirrors, double bridges falling rainbows".
In 2016, the first half marathon of Longshui Lake was held, which was well received by runners at home and abroad. The lakeside horse run, which has been held for many consecutive years, has become the feature of the Longshui Lake Half Marathon, attracting running enthusiasts from all over the world to walk the millennium Tangcheng.
In 2021, Longshui Lake has been successfully created as a municipal-level tourist resort, relying on the profound cultural connotation of Dazu rock carvings, Longshui Lake Resort is also promoting the creation of a national-level tourist resort, and accelerating the construction of a cultural and tourism integration development pattern of "the sun and the moon shine and the stars twinkle" in Dazu with scenic spots such as the world cultural heritage Dazu rock carvings. At the same time, with the in-depth implementation of major strategies such as the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle and the coordinated development of "one district and two groups" in Chongqing, Dazu, which is located in the heart of the Chengdu-Chongqing development strategy, is standing at the forefront of the new trend of rising and leaping, ushering in a promising new stage.
The gameplay of Longshui Lake is also very "promising". At present, Dazu District is concentrating on building Longshui Lake Xiziwan International Holiday Park, as a project that can include all ages, not only the natural tour line around the lake of mountains, rivers, forests and lakes, but also campsites, homestays, mountain springs, beach baths, tea rooms, cafes, water activities and other gathering points, and the distribution of these gathering projects is also fully considering the consumption habits of mainstream consumer groups such as parent-child travel, business socialization, and youth communities.
