In the busy city of Beijing, I have a cozy little nest. Although it is only 56 square meters, it has been cleverly transformed into a small world full of sunshine and warmth. It's both a haven for me and a stage for me to live with my two cats.
The April sky is often covered with clouds, and the endless gray hues seem to indicate a heavy mood. However, with the arrival of May, the bright sun pierced through the thick clouds, like a golden healing hand, smoothing the wrinkles of the soul and warming my cabin.
My home, though not large, is well laid out, with a one-bedroom space that has been carefully designed to be a functional two-bedroom apartment. Three huge floor-to-ceiling windows are the proudest design in the home. When the morning sun rises, the soft orange sunlight sprinkles the entire room, like a golden river flowing slowly, not only illuminating the space, but also warming the heart.
During the renovation process, I took on the role of designer myself, working closely with the foreman to make sure that every detail met my expectations. The cost of the hard decoration part is controlled within 100,000 yuan, and the soft decoration and daily life layout is an ongoing project. Every adjustment, every addition, is the unremitting pursuit of quality of life.
This small house is not only a place to live for me, but also a place to live. Here, whether it is the hard work time of sweating or the leisurely time of playing with the cats, it has become an indispensable and precious memory in my life.
Life, just like this small house, although sometimes we encounter difficulties and challenges, as long as we have hope, the sun will always inadvertently shine into our lives, giving us warmth and strength.
