On May 10, the Nansha Branch of the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment issued the "Announcement of the Preliminary Investigation Report on the Soil Pollution Status of the Plot of the Guangdong Provincial Emergency Treatment Center for Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine".
The project is located in the supporting plot of the Guangdong-Hong Kong In-depth Cooperation Zone, Zhujiang Street, Nansha District, Guangzhou, adjacent to the Nansha Hospital project of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine on the north side and about 500m away from the Nansha Port Expressway on the southwest side.
The project plot covers an area of 13,369.689 square meters. Historically, it was mainly used as farmland and lotus root ponds, and there were no industrial and mining enterprises, and it did not involve large-scale breeding and storage and transportation of toxic and harmful substances.
According to the content of the announcement, the soil samples of the project plot do not exceed the screening value, and the groundwater environmental conditions meet the corresponding standards. According to the relevant technical specifications, the environmental condition of the plot is acceptable, in line with the requirements for the use of the first type of land, and the soil pollution status investigation activity can be concluded.
The soil contamination status survey has been completed, which means that the project will move on to the construction phase next. Combined with the previous project feasibility study report and site selection approval, I believe that the next construction bidding and other procedures will be carried out, and construction will start this year!
According to the plan, the Guangdong Provincial Emergency Treatment Center of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine is a provincial tertiary hospital.
The total construction area of the project is 58,440 square meters, with a total land area of 13,370 square meters and a construction land area of 13,370 square meters. The main construction content includes eight facilities and equipment rooms, including emergency department, outpatient department, inpatient department, pharmacy department, medical technology department, security system, business management and living room in the hospital, as well as underground parking garage.
The estimated total investment of the project is controlled at 109914 million yuan, and the funds required for the construction are arranged by the provincial finance of 800 million yuan, and the rest of the funds are raised by the provincial hospital of traditional Chinese medicine.
It is worth mentioning that according to the approval of the project feasibility study report, the overall construction period of the project is 58 months, nearly 5 years. According to the current schedule, if construction starts this year, the project is expected to be completed in 2029-2030.
However, referring to the Nansha Zhongshan First Hospital, even if the whole is completed, the clinic will not be opened immediately, in other words, you should be patient and wait for the hospital to open.
In addition, next to the Guangdong Provincial Emergency Treatment Center of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, is the National Medical Center of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
The construction of the medical center includes the infrastructure part of the Guangdong Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as the intelligent projects, informatization projects and medical equipment of the Nansha Hospital of the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Academy of Chinese Medicine.
The total construction area of the project is 160426 square meters, of which the above-ground construction area is 114,590 square meters and the underground area is 45,836 square meters.
Main layout construction:
- The construction area of the Research Center for Excavation and Inheritance of Traditional Chinese Medicine is 77,620 square meters;
- The R&D center of traditional Chinese medicine prescription and equipment has a construction area of 3,000 square meters;
- The construction area of the Chinese medicine achievement transformation center is 11,700 square meters;
- The construction area of the Public Health Research Center of Traditional Chinese Medicine is 4730 square meters;
- The construction area of the Chinese medicine talent training center is 8,350 square meters;
- The construction area of the International Exchange and Cooperation Center is 6,300 square meters;
- The supporting building area is 48,726 square meters.
The Guangdong Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which is involved in the National Medical Center project of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, has a planned land area of about 80 acres and a total construction area of 200,000 square meters.
In the future, the Guangdong Provincial Emergency Treatment Center for Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, the Guangdong Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Nansha Hospital of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the National Medical Center of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine will complement each other to build a world-leading high-level and modern Chinese and Western medicine medical center integrating clinical treatment, scientific research, emergency response, teaching and training, and Internet medical and health services, serving the Greater Bay Area and Southeast Asia.
