Last year, Dongyonghui Village revitalized the existing land resources through the model of "village party branch + cooperative + enterprise + farmer", introduced Ningxia Huatai Agricultural Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd., and planted more than 200 acres of high-end cherry tomatoes. Cherry tomatoes require a large number of workers from planting to picking, providing stable employment opportunities for the local people, turning the land into "green factories" and farmers into "industrial workers", so that many villagers can realize the dream of "earning rent from land circulation and earning salaries by working in the garden". At the same time, it will promote the large-scale development of enterprises and help rural revitalization.
According to Wang Fuqiang, deputy secretary of the party branch of Dongyonghui Village, the company planted cherry tomatoes in the village for the second year, more than 230 acres of land last year, and more than 40 acres this year, starting from May 2 to plant, inserting shelves, employing more than 130 people per day, solving the problem of more than 40 people in the village and improving the income of farmers.
Dongyonghui Village has many people and little land, but the land is fertile and sunshine is sufficient, and the cherry tomatoes grown have a good taste and obvious location advantages.
