"Four Seasons" is an oratorio created by Haydn in his later years, with four movements to show the natural cycle of the four seasons, this oratorio "Four Seasons" premiered in China, Huang Ying was invited to sing soprano, this work more than 200 years ago has a large number of quaint recitatives, in order to sing the charm of ancient music, Huang Ying has made a lot of full preparations. I learned German with two professional German professors, mastered the vocabulary relatively completely, and at the same time took classes with some British professors, so I was more confident in the grasp of style, because looking at the score, it seems that a lot of lyrical sopranos can sing, but you have to sing with pure taste, this is different, you can hear it, especially experts, he knows. After a month of preparation, I listened to a lot of records, this kind of work is desk work, different versions of records, different singers, like a version conducted by Karajan, there is another British composer, and there is also a conductor's early music singing group recordings, I did a lot of comparisons, and borrowing, and then formed my own style, according to my own sound characteristics, after mastering the style, and then perfecting it, so the last step is to cooperate with the conductor. New challenges have always been a key word in Huang Ying's life dictionary, from more than 200 outstanding contestants to get the role of "Madama Butterfly", as a newcomer who has just debuted, but with Domingo, Carreras and other world masters on the same stage, after winning the award, learning a new and difficult classical bel canto singing in Europe, Huang Ying continues to choose new challenges on her own music path. "Harem Escape" is Mozart's most praised work, the twists and turns of the storyline, three-dimensional and multi-faceted characters, complex and profound emotions, all of which put forward extremely high requirements for the performer's control of volume, timbre and character, and the performance of this work is undoubtedly a huge challenge for Huang Ying as a Chinese. However, at the 80th anniversary celebration performance of Shangyin, Huang Ying unexpectedly sang the aria in this work, no matter what kind of punishment is waiting for me, I dedicate my latest achievements to my alma mater.

Then I also have high requirements for myself in art, so I am constantly challenging, and at that time I chose "Harem Escape", eight and a half minutes, which is also an aria, and there are very few sopranos abroad who dare to sing this aria. Mozart has written a lot of soprano works, from trumpet to tuba soprano, there are different works, "Harem Escape" is actually a little more lyrical soprano to sing, it is more comfortable, I was giving myself a challenge, I thought that the voice might be able to do it now, so I wanted to try it for the first time. I was very nervous at the time, and it was the 80th anniversary of the school, so some of the teachers in the orchestral department of the conservatory, who were our former classmates, said oh, your choice is too difficult, why are you so tired. I was very nervous before going on stage, because Mozart's music was a tearful smile, and his spirit was in a kind of childlike state, but to achieve such a sound perfection, almost perfect lines, a flawless voice with a large line to sing, and to achieve such a perfect state, to give the audience a perfect feeling, it is a great challenge for singers. Mozart is not good at singing, Puccini is sometimes better than him, because Mozart depends on your basic skills, and the works of these early music composers are based on basic skills, at that time, I thought, it is a new idea for the Chinese audience, but also a challenge for myself, to see if I can be qualified for this role, in the future, after singing, I give myself an evaluation, I have worked hard, but, it may be a while before I can sing the whole role.
