Wending Road, Xuhui District, recently ushered in the annual rose blooming period. The 50-meter-long rose wall, like a splendid flower belt, dots the street, bringing a double feast of sight and smell to the citizens of Xuhui.
Diagonally opposite the southeast gate of Huishi Primary School, roses bloom one after another, and the peach-colored flowers gather one by one, forming a nearly 50-meter-long flower wall, and the air is filled with the fragrance of flowers. The breeze blows, stirring up layers of flowers, petals falling, and the whole street seems to be immersed in this refreshing fragrance.
Under the sunlight, the flowers become more and more delicate. Citizens strolled along the path next to the flower wall, feeling the tenderness and romance of roses, or stopping to admire, or picking up their mobile phones to record. Bees are also attracted by this sea of flowers, busily shuttling among the flowers to pick up pollen.
