The reporter interviewed parents who were waiting for their children to get out of school, and some parents expressed their concerns.

The Xinsha Road construction project is a bottled liquefied petroleum gas supply station, not a "gas station", and the site selection has been investigated and explored by experts from multiple departments.

The company's staff told us that the supply station is designed and built as a Class III station, and according to the "Code for the Design of Liquefied Petroleum Gas Supply Engineering" (GB51142-2015) regulations and standards: Class III liquefied petroleum gas cylinder supply station can set up the bottle warehouse in a single-storey special room adjacent to the outer wall of the building except for residences, important public buildings and high-rise civil buildings and podiums, and the partition wall should be a firewall without doors and windows. The fire distance between the bottle warehouse and the main road should not be less than 8 meters, and the secondary road should not be less than 5 meters. The address of Xinsha Road Supply Station is about 150 meters away from Xinsha Road Primary School, and the safety distance from the main and secondary roads meets the requirements, and the distance from Xinsha Road Primary School meets the fire spacing requirements of Class I LPG Cylinder Supply Station of 25 meters.
Liu Ke said that the hard conditions such as the safety facilities that have been put into operation at the site are set in strict accordance with the specifications, which can ensure that the building facilities meet the safety conditions for short-term storage of cylinders. At present, the site has not been completed, and it will be officially put into operation after passing the acceptance of multiple departments.
The gas company said that it would increase the publicity of relevant information, set up a public notice board at the gate or conspicuous place of the site, publicize the construction overview and procedures of the construction project, do a good job in information announcement, and strengthen the safety management of the supply site. Relevant departments will also further strengthen supervision.
