Since the beginning of this year, the first science and technology service station of the Lingnan Nightingale Research Institute in Guangdong Province, the Appropriate Technology and Patent Transformation Professional Committee of the Guangzhou Nursing Association and many other provincial and municipal service stations and professional committees have been settled, which fully demonstrates the influence and competitiveness of the nursing work of the Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
At the conference, President He Mingfeng read out the commendation documents on behalf of the hospital, and successively awarded honorary certificates to advanced individuals, groups such as "Advanced Nursing Collective" and "Excellent Nurse Manager", as well as five provincial and municipal awards.
Liu Fan, the head nurse from the Department of Spine Surgery, won the title of Outstanding Head Nurse of Foshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine this year, and Liu Fan was both happy and moved when he received the honorary certificate. As one of the departments with a large number of critically ill patients, the spine surgery department has rapid changes in the patient's condition, which has raised the intensity of Liu Fan's daily work to a higher level.
Over the past 20 years, Liu Fan has become a good nurse in the eyes of patients, a good teacher in the eyes of young nurses, and a good leader in the department team with his superb skills, rigorous work style and humanistic care. "Patients can recover and return to life and society as soon as possible, which is the best feedback for the profession of nurses, and I will continue to inherit the spirit of Nightingale and provide better nursing services for patients." Liu Fan said.
The theme of this year's International Nurses Day is "Our Nurses, Our Future, the Economic Effectiveness of Nursing". In order to actively explore the training model of integrated medical and educational nursing talents under the background of new medical reform, the Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the School of Nursing of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine jointly established the "Foshan Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Nursing Teaching and Research Center", which was officially unveiled at the conference site.
Huang Shaojuan, director of the Nursing Department of the Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, said that on the one hand, the establishment of the teaching and research center can allow the universities and hospitals to complement each other's advantages, and students, teachers and clinical nurses can learn from each other and exchange experience and theory. On the other hand, clinical practice is a fertile ground for scientific research, and the shortcomings of nursing staff in scientific research can be made up by senior scientific research elites in colleges and universities, and the cooperation between the two sides can effectively improve the level of scientific research.
"In the future, we will rely on the teaching and research center, be oriented to clinical needs, combine the trend of future professional development and the needs of clinical nursing students, create high-quality courses suitable for clinical use, and cultivate a group of excellent teachers. At the same time, it cooperates with a number of member units, combines the "pain points" and "difficulties" of current nursing research, establishes a cooperation mechanism, and implements multi-center and multi-dimensional scientific research. Huang Shaojuan said.
At the conference site, 32 nurses with 30 years of nursing experience gracefully showed their demeanor on stage, and the audience applauded thunderously, cheering for their perseverance and dedication. Representatives from various departments of the hospital also arranged a number of programs for the celebration to add luster to the festival.
