The school recruits fresh junior high school graduates who have a strong interest in learning and good innovation potential, have a solid cultural foundation and outstanding comprehensive quality, have excellent academic performance, and meet the registration conditions for the 2024 Foshan high school entrance examination (including students who study in Foshan junior high schools and return to Foshan to take the high school entrance examination in other places).
It is understood that Shimen Middle School plans to set up about 24 classes in the new senior high school this year, including special classes such as the promising class and the Tianyou innovation class. After entering the first year of high school, students will be divided into classes according to their independent enrollment results and high school entrance examination results.

In terms of filling in the volunteers, candidates who are interested in applying for Shimen Middle School must fill in the independent enrollment volunteers and participate in the Foshan high school entrance examination according to the unified time arranged by the city. Candidates who are not admitted by the school's independent enrollment will continue to submit according to the volunteer form, which will not affect the admission of subsequent batches.

The Municipal Admissions Office will admit candidates according to their volunteers, comprehensive performance evaluation files and comprehensive evaluation results with reference to the candidates' high school entrance examination results. The comprehensive performance evaluation of admitted students must reach a grade of B (including grade B) or above. According to the average score of the cultural subject of the high school entrance examination (excluding extra points) of the candidates who effectively fill in the independent enrollment of Shimen Middle School, the average score will be reduced by 60 points, and the minimum control line of the school's independent enrollment will be delineated. Candidates who meet the control line will be admitted according to the comprehensive evaluation results of the school from high to low, and if there are two or more candidates at the end of the school plan with the same comprehensive evaluation results, the "same score comparison principle" will be used to admit the first; Candidates who fail to reach the control line will not be admitted and will participate in subsequent batches of admission. If the independent enrollment plan is not completed, it will be automatically withdrawn and converted to the school's ordinary student plan or sports and art plan for enrollment in subsequent batches.
Shimen Middle School is a public school, and the students who are admitted by Shimen Middle School's independent enrollment will be charged tuition fees according to the standards approved by the price department, with the tuition fee for ordinary students being 989 yuan/student/semester and the textbook fee being 230 yuan/student/semester.
