The reporter learned from the Shandong Provincial Ecological Environment Monitoring Center that since the early morning of May 11, most cities in Shandong Province have experienced severe and above PM10 pollution from north to south due to the influence of cold air, strong winds and sand and dust transportation. At 10 o'clock in the morning, Jinan, Zibo, Binzhou, Dongying, Weifang, Liaocheng, Heze, Jining, Linyi, Rizhao and other cities all experienced severe polluted weather.

As the cold air continued to advance, the influence of sand and dust gradually weakened and the PM10 concentration gradually decreased in the afternoon of the 11th. On May 12, with the diffusion and settlement of sand and dust, the impact of sand and dust weather continued to weaken, and the concentration of PM10 gradually decreased to a benign level.

From the afternoon of the 11th to the day of the 12th, the weather in Shandong Province was sunny to few clouds, and there was floating dust in most areas. North wind, 3~4 gusts of 6 in Weifang and Peninsula areas, and 2~3 in other areas.
Minimum temperature: about 11 °C in Linyi, Rizhao, Luzhong mountainous areas and peninsula areas, and about 14 °C in other areas.
The highest temperature on the 12th: about 19 °C in the northern coastal areas, about 27 °C in Lunan area, and about 25 °C in other areas.
From the night of the 12th to the day of the 13th, the weather in Shandong Province was sunny to cloudy. In Jinan, Zibo, Weifang and the peninsula, the north wind will turn from level 3 to south wind level 4~5 with gusts of level 6, and the north wind will turn to south wind level 3~4 in other areas.
Minimum temperature: about 10 °C in Linyi, Rizhao, Luzhong Mountains and peninsula areas, and about 13 °C in other areas.
Maximum temperature: around 25°C in the northern coastal areas, around 20°C in the southern coastal areas, and around 30°C in other areas.
From the night of the 13th to the day of the 14th, it was cloudy and overcast in the northern coastal areas with thunderstorms or showers, and the weather in other areas was sunny and cloudy. The southerly wind turns to northerly wind level 4 with gusts of 5~6 in northwest Shandong, central Shandong and the peninsula, the south wind is 3~4 in other areas, and the gusts are 7~9 during thunderstorms in thunderstorm areas.
Minimum temperature: about 15 °C in Linyi, Rizhao, Luzhong mountain area and peninsula area, and about 19 °C in other areas.
Maximum temperature: around 26°C in the northern coastal areas, around 20°C in the southern coastal areas, and around 33°C in other areas.
