Today (May 9), the theme activity of "Talent is Flourishing, Youth is Burning" Changning Youth to commemorate the 105th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement and celebrate the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League of China was held at Hongqiao Art Center. Wu Bin, deputy secretary of the Youth League Municipal Committee and chairman of the Municipal Youth Federation, and Liu Ping, deputy secretary of the Changning District Party Committee, attended.
Before the start of the event, the participating leaders met with outstanding youth representatives.
Liu Ping put forward three hopes for the youth and youth league organizations in Changning: first, the fiery youth needs firm ideals and beliefs, and hopes that the young people of Changning will keep in mind the party's teachings and strive to grow into new people of the era who are worthy of important tasks; It is hoped that under the strong leadership of the party, the young people of Changning will be brave pioneers and career leaders in the construction of Hongqiao International Open Hub and the major strategy of urban digital transformation; It is hoped that the young people of Changning will contribute to the development of the society and truly grow into good young people in the new era who have ideals, dare to take responsibility, can endure hardships, and are willing to struggle.
In the theme exhibition session, the students of Donghua University brought the sitcom micro-group class "Joint Completion in Changning", which tells the story of college students finding their life direction in the talent attraction and retention mode of "three associations" of the joint completion of the "Changning Action" defense meeting, job fair, and press conference. In 2023, the national joint graduation project will successfully land in Changning, becoming a stage for young talents to display their talents. At the event, the first batch of results of the 2024 national joint graduation project "Changning Action" was also released.
Teenagers from all walks of life performed a cappella chorus "The Appearance of Youth City", telling the wonderful life of Changning youth in the youth city. The "1+3+N" scenario matrix of youth development urban areas was also released at the scene, with the goal of building a youth urban area full of infinite hope and infinite charm, Changning will continue to promote the construction of a youth development urban area in Shanghai.
The micro-video "Meet the Heart of "Ning"" shows the achievements of Changning's young talent work. In the past year, as an important part of the stepwise training chain of young talents in the region, the second "Ningqing Cup" Youth Talent Challenge was successfully held, and 14 representatives of champions from each track came to the scene to show their style. At the ceremony, the third "Ningqing Cup" Youth Talent Challenge was launched.
A total of more than 700 youth collectives and individuals in Changning won national, municipal and district honors and commendations in the past year. During the event, awards were also presented to the 21st National Youth Civilization and the 2nd National Rural Revitalization Youth Pioneer, the 2023 Shanghai Youth May Fourth Medal Collective and Individual Representatives, the 2023 Shanghai Grassroots League Organization Typical Tree Selection Commendation Collective Representative, the 25th Shanghai Youth Civilization Collective Representative, the 2023 Shanghai Youth Commando and the Shanghai Youth Safety Production Post Collective Representative.
At the same time, the Hongqiao Art Center launched the 2024 National Joint Graduation Project "Changning Action" Carnival. Approaching graduation, the design graduates who participated in the action submitted their manuscripts one after another, and a number of wonderful works were presented in front of everyone in the form of exhibitions of completed works, cultural and creative product markets, topic selection and promotion, and repertoire performances. In the cultural and creative products market, citizens and friends have stopped by works such as Cheng Shifa Art Museum cultural creativity and Li Ning's porcelain kiln theme gift box designed for students. This batch of works has also been affirmed by the unit that produced the question, and will be further deepened in the follow-up, becoming a strong witness of "joint completion" and "real work".
