SAIC Roewe's engineering team overcame difficulties and achieved three "firsts" in one fell swoop: the first "energy domain" global thermal management, the first "five-in-one PICU" to achieve variable sharing, the first leading P1 flat wire motor with coaxial structure, and the widest and most efficient thermal efficiency ≥43% engine.

Among the new energy vehicles, plug-in hybrids, pure electric vehicles, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and other new energy vehicles are blooming, among which, hybrid vehicle products such as range extender and plug-in hybrid have become one of the key subdivisions of many car companies in recent years.

According to data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in the new energy vehicle market in the first quarter of this year, the sales of plug-in hybrid vehicles reached 784,000, a year-on-year increase of 81.2%, and plug-in hybrid vehicles surpassed pure electric vehicles to become the fastest growing car type.

In the fierce competition, SAIC Roewe chooses to break through with technological innovation and create products that can stand the test of the market. The Roewe D7 DMH and D5X DMH equipped with DMH super hybrid technology have demonstrated their strength in terms of energy efficiency, NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness), and driving experience.

In the 2023 Hybrid Vehicle Extreme Challenge, the Roewe D7 DMH stood out among many mainstream plug-in hybrid models, with a measured pure electric range of 142km and a fuel consumption of 4.61L per 100km, winning a number of key competitions. Subsequently, under the condition of full fuel and full power, the Roewe D7 DMH continued to refresh the endurance record of B-class cars with a range of 1704km in winter and 1962km in Lanzhou to Shanghai. The Roewe D5X DMH, which is also equipped with DMH super hybrid technology, also recorded a true comprehensive range of 1,621km and an average fuel consumption of 3.8L per 100km measured in Hainan in January this year.

SAIC's new energy technology roadmap is not only for domestic users, but also for global users.
