Introduction to Art
Zhang Qinghong, female, was born in Shandong in 1960 and currently lives in Beijing. Graduated from Shandong Art Institute and studied at the Chinese Flower and Bird Painting Training Institute. He is a disciple of Mr. Wu Guanzhong and a national first-class artist. He is a member of the Chinese Artists Association, the China Folk Literature and Art Association, and the Beijing Folk Literature and Art Association.
Born in a scholarly family, inspired by his father, he has loved the art of painting since childhood, and has studied under masters such as Qi Baishi, Pan Tianshou, and Li Kuchan. He has studied under the famous painters Zhang Heling, Xu Zhan, Zhang Heyun, Zhang Peiwu, Zhao Chunqiu, and Li Zhendong. Over the past decades, adhering to the concept of inheriting tradition and continuous innovation, the works have formed a fresh atmosphere, hearty brushwork, profound meaning, and vivid charm. He is good at painting flowers and birds, and also focuses on landscape painting. In particular, he has a special fondness for lotus flowers and carp, and his orchid heart is quite creative with cloth stickers, and his works are exquisite, rich in content, and rich in ethnic customs. Cloth sticker is a collection of paper-cutting and painting art and one of the comprehensive arts, more suitable for hanging home to do decorative paintings, can be described as "the room is big, the small world is wide".
He has participated in many provincial, municipal, national and international painting and calligraphy exhibitions and won awards, and his works have been well received by experts and scholars. In November 2011, Zhang Qinghong was awarded the title of "Beijing Qiaoniang" by Beijing Qiaoniang Handicraft Development Promotion Association
