May flowers are in full bloom, and the tassels are full of tree fragrance. This morning (May 11), the sun shined on the ancient tassel tree with a history of more than 580 years in Sujiayu Village, Xinchengzi Town, Miyun District.
At the event, the secretary of the Party branch of Sujiayu Village expressed his welcome to the tourists and reviewed the history of Sujiayu Village accompanied by tassel trees. Immediately afterwards, the town party committee and government introduced the "Ancient Tree New Town" cultural tourism service applet to tourists. The mini program integrates the latest tourism information, scenic spot introduction, homestay introduction, characteristic agricultural product recommendation and other all-round information of Xinchengzi Town, and provides tourists with convenient tourism services such as one-click navigation, online consultation, and activity check-in.
At the same time, a series of tassel-themed cultural and creative products designed by Gongmei Group, a counterpart assistance enterprise in Sujiayu Village, were also unveiled at the event site, with tassel-themed ice cream, tassel badges, refrigerator magnets, postcards, stamp albums and other cultural and creative products that integrate traditional and modern elements, providing tourists with a unique commemorative choice.
The theatrical performances were wonderful. Local writers and students recited prose and poems related to the tassel tree, expressing the deep affection between the villagers who lived here and the ancient tassel tree. The guests and tourists also came to the tassel tree to admire the graceful posture of this ancient tree and take a group photo.
And the special food in the village has also attracted everyone's attention. Wild vegetable dumplings, stone-ground tofu, pancakes, small pot dumplings, farmhouse stews, etc., make people feel the unique food culture of Xinchengzi Town.
It is worth mentioning that Xinchengzi Town, where the ancient tassel tree is located, is based on the construction of "Ancient Tree Town", deeply excavates the historical and cultural connotation of 20 ancient trees in the town, aggregates the town's rich natural scenic spots, boutique homestays, ancient castles, ancient villages, ancient Great Wall and other tourism resources, and starts the cultural and leisure tourism route of "Ancient Tree Town".
