Today I talked to my friends about work, everyone thinks that work is too boring, not making much money, the only difference is that I use "not going to work" to resist this emptiness, he will feel that he is not working, and he can continue to work.

"I don't understand why he did this, he's a programmer, he has a high salary and savings in the Chinese, and he doesn't plan to buy a house or get married, so I have enough money to try something interesting," I said. But, he said, if he doesn't work for a day, he feels uneasy because he has no income, which no amount of savings can make up for.

Poor Man's Mindset: The real murderer who prevents you from earning money

We both come from poor and backward areas, so I am very sensitive to this concern. Although I have not been working for a long time and have worked for a year or two with my own savings, my worries about the future have not changed in the slightest, and I am restless without a few dollars in my wallet.

I call this the "poor man's mindset", like a farmer who works hard to prepare for next year, always worrying about his future, and even though their savings can last for ten years, who knows if something will happen? The cycle of labor is not interrupted by the surplus food in the hand, and this is how life is.

Recently, I've been thinking about why it's so hard to get out of this line of thought, maybe because of the shallowness of my understanding, just looking at the surface, and I try to use some logic to reverse this idea:

Accumulation is of no use and will only make things worse. If I have two years of surplus food according to common sense, will next year be a little better? But the strange thing is that you think that your efforts are rewarded, you look at me, I have worked hard and accumulated food for two years? In this way, he will work harder and save more food, but will he become richer? I don't think so. There are many interpretations of affluence, but I believe that affluence is a sense of security for the future. The wealth that comes with the way you work doesn't solve your worries, on the contrary, it exacerbates your worries, which is a side effect of what I call "saving".

2. The essence of wealth lies not in accumulation, but in plunder. If you keep all the wealth in this world the same, then if you make money, someone will lose money, and this is a kind of plunder. But in fact, money can be traded, which is much more complicated, assuming that a boss can get 10 million in cash, it is equivalent to taking 10 million in profits, and in the stock market, that is the money of investors who lose money. Wealth is a robbery, so why not accumulate it? Even if you add up the interest, it is impossible for you to accumulate wealth.

Therefore, we want to make more money, in other words, what kind of production methods do you use to plunder the wealth of others. If you are very handsome, then use your youth, use your body, rely on the strength of a rich woman, if you are very good at sensationalism, then open a training class, teach them how to make money, how to maintain health, if you find an opportunity that others can't see, that is your capital, and there will be people who pay the price for your creative resources, this is robbery.

3. Spend more money and earn more money. For the poor, spending money is a sin because it is a betrayal. I often make the same mistake myself, and it's similar to the first question because we are uncertain about the future. In "Schindler's List", when the male protagonist first started his business, he used all his savings to buy a good outfit, bought a lot of gifts, and then entered the upper class and got some factory resources, which is why he later saved the world.

If it were you, in this case, would you dare to take out all your savings to buy clothes?

I do not know. "So, I set a goal for myself, that is, to spend it purposefully, and the money is to be able to deal with sudden changes, that is, I have to keep asking for advice from others, learning from others, and learning those skills that will never be eliminated, so that you will know that no matter what happens, you will have a bite to eat, not frugality.
