However, the reality may slap many people in the face, because too many people will not return to the countryside as long as they can survive in the city.

However, they ignore one point, that is, many of the post-80s, post-90s, post-00s and other younger generations, they have been accustomed to life in the city for a long time, and they are not at all exposed to all kinds of farm work like their parents and grandparents, so even if they return to the countryside, many people will not even be able to plant land.
Not to mention the cultivation of this field, a large part of it is not even clear where their own fields are. So, even if they return to the countryside, how will their livelihood be solved?
The reason why young people cannot be retained in the current rural areas, and many young people cannot stay when they go back, and they often stay for a few days and cannot stay for a few more days, is because they have no income, and they will panic when they live.
Like traditional agriculture, they can't, and even if they can, they know that it's very hard, and the key grain is not very profitable, and too many people can't bear this hardship.
Secondly, all aspects of rural life are also inconvenient.
For most of the post-60s and post-70s, they may have special feelings about returning to the countryside for the elderly, because they grew up in the countryside since childhood.
However, for the post-80s and post-90s, most of them grew up in the city, and many of them have become accustomed to life in the city, so it is more difficult to return to the countryside to live. Because many people have suffered in the countryside, they know all the inconveniences of living in the countryside and do not want to go back.
Take the Spring Festival as an example, now many young people go back to celebrate the New Year, and they are staying in hotels in the town or county, especially those who drag their families back, which is even more inconvenient, because many children are not used to rural life. This is also a current situation, and there are basically no children in the countryside now, because they are all sent to the city by their parents to study.
The vast majority of parents work hard in the city and buy houses for their children in the city, hoping that their children will have a better educational environment. Do you imagine that parents who work so hard to create conditions for their children will hope that their children will return to the countryside in the future? When the children grow up, most of them don't want to go back to the countryside to live.
In addition, as for medical treatment, it is also very inconvenient. Even if it is a minor illness, you have to rush to the town to buy a medicine to see a doctor, if you encounter some diseases, it is even more inconvenient, the road is far away and remote, and you will regret it for life if you do not send it to the hospital in time.
It is estimated that this is also the reason why many young people in rural areas are now buying houses in the city, rather than building houses in their rural hometowns.
Because they are also very clear, saying that they plan to retire in the future, but the current vacancy rate of houses in rural areas is particularly high, and many people spend tens of millions to build houses, and they only live for a few days a year, and most of the time they are vacant. And they also understand that once they are used to life in the city, it is really difficult to go back to the countryside.
