Xiao Wenming, director of the Hunan Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, introduced that a lot of medical books were unearthed from the Mawangdui Han Tomb in Changsha, from the aspects of diet, qigong, guidance, medicine, etc., recording the methods of health care from the pre-Qin to the Western Han Dynasty, among which the "Guide Map" more than 2,000 years ago is the oldest Qigong guidance secret book, and the painting is the method of guiding qi, which created a precedent for Qigong guidance in the mainland.

In Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, there is a traditional health care team composed of "post-00" college students, who are committed to studying health preservation exercises such as Mawangdui guidance and spreading the traditional culture of traditional Chinese medicine.

Long Zhuan, dean of the School of Physical Education and Art of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, introduced that the Mawangdui guidance technique is soothing and soft, and this set of exercises is created by selecting 17 movements in the "Guide Map", which is more suitable for modern people to practice. Mawangdui guidance technique pays attention to "following the guidance of the scriptures, following the form and meaning", focusing on the opening and closing of the limbs, rotation and flexion and extension, tendons and bones for action design, is a set of internal and external exercises, practitioners should do "meaning, qi, shape", called "guidance".

Recently, the reporter and the students of the traditional health team of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine practiced the Mawangdui guidance technique together, and after practicing a set of exercises, the reporter felt that his body was slightly sweating and his mood was calm.

"In our school, more than 4,000 students study this ancient set of exercises every year. Ding Yuxuan, a 21-year-old sophomore at the School of Acupuncture, Tuina and Rehabilitation at Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, has been practicing Mawangdui Guiding Technique for two years. She told reporters that she could clearly feel that her breathing was smoother than before, and her body was more flexible.

"The first set of exercises I came into contact with when I entered school was the Mawangdui Channeling Technique, which I felt very novel at first, but after practicing for a long time, I felt more peaceful, and now I often go into the community and surrounding schools with my classmates to teach the Channeling Technique. Dai Qichen, a junior at Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, said.

"A lot of the movements of the channeling technique are imitations of animal movements, such as the flying of geese. In the "Guide Map", it is shown that the person in the painting is upright, raising his arms and stretching out obliquely, and the pictogram is meaningful, like a wild goose spreading its wings. Zhang Ziyin, a teacher at the School of Physical Education and Art of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, said.

The reporter learned that in order to cultivate more students' interest in traditional health care sports, Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine has also established the Mawangdui Guiding Art Club, the Five Poultry Opera Club, the Tai Chi Club, etc., which have attracted more and more college students to join them.

Xiao Wenming said that Hunan is one of the important birthplaces of Chinese traditional Chinese medicine, and the culture of traditional Chinese medicine is profound.
