My name is Fangfang, I am a post-80s generation from Xinjiang, and I am also the landlord of Tujia Luoyang Fengqi Homestay. During the "May Day" period, Luoyang, Henan Province tourism was very popular, and my homestay was almost full every day. "If you want to ask about the rise and fall of ancient and modern times, please only look at Luoyang City", as the ancient capital of the thirteen dynasties in history, Luoyang has a profound cultural heritage. Moreover, "Luoyang peony is the best in the world", every year Luoyang peony season will attract many tourists to come to enjoy the flowers. The peony flower festival is superimposed on the "May Day" holiday, which is the most lively time in Luoyang.

The reason why I chose to open a homestay in Luoyang is because it belongs to my ancestral hometown and I have a deep affection for Luoyang, and on the other hand, because the story of Luoyang is very attractive, and it has a unique charm that other ancient capitals do not have, and people need to savor it slowly.

In recent years, with the rise of the "national tide", young people's interest in traditional Chinese culture has become increasingly strong, and the elements of traditional Chinese clothing represented by horse-faced skirts have gradually become popular, which has also made Luoyang's tourism industry glow with new vitality.

My B&B is more of a cultural vehicle than a place to stay for tourists. In order to create an antique accommodation experience, I decorate the B&B rooms with elements rich in Tang aesthetics, and also provide Hanfu for the guests staying in the hotel, so that they can immerse themselves in the charm of the ancient style in their residence.

During the "May Day" period, I also specially prepared peony flowers to welcome guests in the B&B, as well as books related to Luoyang culture such as "Tang Poetry Luoyang Ji" and "Henan Treasure Hunt", so that guests can have a deeper understanding of Luoyang through reading while playing. If you just visit the scenery and flowers, you will inevitably live up to Luoyang's rich historical and cultural heritage, and you can gain a more profound experience by mastering some background knowledge and then visiting scenic spots.

In fact, Luoyang not only has an ancient style experience scene, but also many delicious and fun places. I've created a "Shopping and Eating Guide" to recommend Luoyang's attractions and food, and I'll update the guide according to seasonal changes. For example, during the "May Day" period, I recommended some natural landscapes and seasonal delicacies, so that guests can experience the beauty of Luoyang in season.

To be honest, the B&B market in Luoyang is highly competitive, especially this year, the number of B&B hosts around me has almost doubled. But I believe that as long as I can continue to provide special services and experiences, and continue to explore models and form a system, my homestay will be able to stand out in the market. At the same time, I also hope that through a space like a homestay, I can provide guests with a deep cultural experience that goes beyond staying and leave them with unforgettable memories.

Today, both the Luoyang government and the Tujia homestay platform have launched a number of measures to help the homestay industry develop in an orderly manner. I look forward to the future development of the market more and more standardized, and I also hope that the homestay can become the golden sign of Luoyang tourism. As a homestay host, I am constantly learning and exploring to provide better service to my guests. (Interviewed by China City Daily reporter Zhang Yaxin)

Cultural Tourism Experience Host: Dream back to Datang, "crossing" to "Chang'an Twelve Hours"

I and the "May Day" cultural tourism: wandering in the new blue ocean and harvesting new experiences

My name is Li Yuanyuan, and I am a cultural tourism experience expert. During this "May Day" holiday, I walked into the popular check-in destination in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province - Chang'an Twelve Hours Theme Street. In the middle of it, I saw many tourists dressed in beautiful and elegant Hanfu, holding paper fans or wearing flower hairpins, as if they had become literati and court ladies of the Tang Dynasty, shuttling through the Tang style scenery composed of flowers, green bamboos and birds and birds. Many tourists who travel with their families are "the whole family", and the family has changed into exquisite Tang Dynasty costumes. Children and their parents walked hand in hand in the block, interacting with characters such as "Sun Simiao" and "Shangguan Wan'er", and immersed themselves in the Tang Dynasty.

During my visit, I learned that Hanfu dress-up photography has always been an important part of the "all-Tang" format of the neighborhood. The popularity of the neighborhood has also led to the prosperity and development of the surrounding Hanfu industry, and the number of Hanfu shops has increased from a few at the beginning to thousands today. I had a Hanfu makeup experience at the Xu Hezi Beauty Shop in the block, and I noticed that the store had more than 100 new Tang Hanfu and "Twelve Flower Gods" themed makeup during the "May Day" period, which was both ancient and innovative.

At the Tang Hongwen Museum in the 12 Hours Theme District of Chang'an, I saw many children learning to perform the Tang Dynasty fork hand ceremony under the leadership of the "Tang Dynasty Rite Official", and making intangible cultural heritage lanterns and shadow puppets with their parents. This kind of research and experience project of "edutainment" and "travel" conveys the historical and cultural knowledge of the Tang Dynasty to the next generation in the form of games, entertainment and interaction, and also greatly enriches the holiday life of parent-child families. It is understood that at present, the block has formed two major product systems, namely Tang culture special research courses and characteristic immersive theme research, which can provide customized research products for customers of different ages and different needs.

The fusion of Tang style and technology can be seen everywhere in the block: tourists can experience immersive consumption with the "Kaiyuan Tongbao" with built-in chips, make a miniature version of their personal costume figures in a 3D full-color live printing shop, and enjoy the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty at the holographic projection of Beauty Street...... In addition, immersive performances supported by digital technology such as "Feast of Bliss" and "The Coming Dynasty of All Nations" have eliminated the barrier between traditional artistic expressions and tourists, allowing tourists to deeply integrate into the cultural tourism scene.

"On this auspicious day, we specially invite all Aiqing and I to taste rare delicacies and enjoy exotic songs and dances together. "When night falls, the large-scale Tang culture immersive dining experience project "Le Yan - Tang Dynasty" in the 12 o'clock theme block of Chang'an kicked off. Musicians play music, ladies salute, "Li Bai", "Du Fu", "Lu Yu" and other celebrities of the Tang Dynasty sit and drink together with tourists, a series of special dishes and theme performances are exquisitely combined, holographic projection and the performance plot complement each other, bringing visitors a double feast of vision and taste.

The nighttime immersive game "Datang Never Sleeps" attracted many young people to participate, who solved the case with "Di Renjie", played Feihua Ling with "Bai Juyi", and experienced a fantasy "crossing" journey of Datang in laughter. The rich night tour projects in the block and the new "night" state of cultural tourism not only extend the stay time of tourists in the block, but also light up the beacon of Xi'an's night cultural consumption. During the "May Day" period, the neighborhood also deliberately extended its night business hours, and the performing arts program also lasted until half past ten in the evening, and everyone had a great time. Travel strategy expert: young people are more in pursuit of personalization when traveling

My name is Li Yuyue, and I am a strategy expert in the tourist community Mafengwo. My job is to answer questions from travelers from all over the world in the hornet's nest strategy group, and solve their travel problems.

Recently, my biggest feeling is that from a city to a neighborhood in the city, and then to a snack bar in a neighborhood, young people's travel goals can be said to be getting "smaller" day by day.

In the past, most of the questions of travelers revolved around general questions such as destination selection, itinerary planning, accommodation recommendations, and local pit avoidance guidelines. Nowadays, young people's questions are more about "what are the niche attractions in the destination", "what are the new things to do in popular destinations", "where to taste the most authentic local food", etc. This means that young people are no longer satisfied with traditional travel routes and standardized travel experiences, they are eager for personalized and customized gameplay, hoping to be able to plan their itinerary according to their own interests and preferences, and no longer obsessively pursue online celebrity landmark check-ins, focusing on "doing what you want".

During the "May Day" period, a tourist who went to Changsha left a deep impression on me. Before departure, the tourist found through the weather forecast that it may rain almost every day during the long holiday, which may cause inconvenience to travel. So she asked in the strategy group where to stay and take out as many local specialties as possible. "Anyway, the main purpose of my trip is to enjoy the food, even if I stay in the hotel and don't go out, as long as I taste it, I will be here. She spoke out her travel logic.

After receiving the demand, I immediately listed the food streets in Changsha according to the region, such as Wuyi business district, east of the city, south of the city, north of the city, etc. Then sort out the corresponding food streets and related food recommendations in each area, so that they can play a targeted role when tourists choose. Finally, in each region, the hotels in the price range required by tourists are sorted by comfort level to help tourists make decisions more efficiently and conveniently.

By making tips for this food-loving tourist, I also gained a new understanding of what I do. I used to think that the basis of being a travel strategy expert was to know everything about major tourist cities and famous scenic spots, but as Gen Z has become the backbone of the travel army, I have gradually found that young people are becoming more and more individualized in their way of traveling, and now they are more interested in satisfying their own experience than in the past.
