The film takes the "letter" as an opportunity, takes the "letter delivery" as the action line, infuses the inner spirit of the character with the "belief", and then takes the character as the guide, gradually unfolds, through the contradiction between the heroine and different characters in the process of sending the letter, presenting the simple life of the Tibetan people, the ancient nation, at the moment and in the face of the changes of the times.
In order to restore the story more realistically, the film crew went to Shangri-La, where the prototype characters lived, and filmed on the spot. The whole crew re-walked the snowy mountain road that Nima Rama walked, and the lead actor Nyima Song song also personally experienced the zipline link in the process of delivering letters.
"When I got there, all the staff waited for me to slip, the first time it was the local villagers who took it, and when they got to the opposite side, they had to sneak back by themselves. As a result, I was too nervous, the rope was too tight, and stopped in the middle.
