Zheng Tong: Use talk shows to interpret colorful youth
When the night fell, the bustle of Chengdu had not faded, and a special talk show performance attracted the audience's attention. And the host of this performance is a talk show actor from Beipiao to Rongpiao.
Her name is Zheng Tong, a young man with a dream. In an interview, she shared with reporters her path to growth.
In 2014, Zheng Tong left his hometown in Northeast China and embarked on the road to Beipiao, and began to live in Beijing. However, 6 years of living in Beipiao did not allow her to find a sense of belonging. In 2020, she decided to leave Beijing and come to Chengdu to start her life in Rongpiao.
Zheng Tong, who came to Chengdu, was infected by the city's tolerance and unique cultural atmosphere, and began a different career and life experience. She repositioned herself from a financial practitioner to a stand-up comedian, a job she loved, and her past life experiences became the source of her creativity. In every talk show performance, she releases herself, and constantly gains a sense of accomplishment and happiness from the laughter and applause of the audience. At the beginning of 2023, she became the head of this talk show theater. In this small comedy group, she met a group of like-minded young people, including young people from Xinjiang, Qinghai, Guizhou and other regions.

In this extremely inclusive environment, different life experiences, different growth environments, and cultural differences in different regions have not only not caused barriers and obstacles between everyone, but have become a catalyst for everyone's feelings. This group of enthusiastic, sincere, and like-minded young people take care of each other and grow together in this small group. The phrase "build a refuge of life with joy and laughter" is the greatest hope in the hearts of this group of young people who insist on their dreams.
Regarding her future, Zheng Tong said that she hopes to continue to develop in the talk show industry, because she loves it, and because she thinks that it is a very happy thing to bring happiness to others. In Chengdu, from the government to the people, her small business has been recognized and supported by all parties. She believes that talk shows have a good soil for development here, and hopes to realize the dreams of everyone in the team in this city.
Zheng Tong said that Chengdu is her home, and the place where she can settle down physically and mentally is home, as long as her family is around, her body and mind will have a home.

Li Qing: Let youth bloom in flowers
Li Qing, 28, is from Hebei Province and graduated from a normal school majoring in fine arts. She used to work as an art teacher in the experimental kindergarten of Beijing Normal University, and later because of her love for floral art, she resolutely quit her stable job and came to Chengdu to start her flower career.
When she was in college, Li Qing used to work part-time in a flower shop. At that time, she didn't know so many varieties of flowers, but she was attracted by those beautiful flowers and felt the joy of arranging flowers and plants. This became the impetus for her later career in floristry.
After coming to Chengdu, Li Qing found that the environment and humanistic feelings here were very suitable for her. She said that Chengdu can see different flowers all year round, which is very friendly to the development of the floral industry. The people of the city are also very welcoming, which makes her feel a sense of inclusion and comfort. In this way, Li Qing stayed in Chengdu even more firmly.

In the tempering of the Chengdu floral market, Li Qing has grown from a newcomer in the floral industry to a professional florist. Whether it is the journey of delivering flowers in the early hours of the morning, or the joys and sorrows in various flower scenes, she is immersed in it. For Li Qing, every bouquet of flowers carries the emotions of the person who sent the flowers, and she is a witness to these beautiful emotions. Being able to engage in the floral career she loves has made her extremely happy, and it is a kind of luck to share the happiness of others.
Li Qing said: "Every time I arrange flowers, I imagine what the bouquet will look like in the end. Sometimes, I design the bouquet according to the client's needs and emotions, so that each bouquet can convey a unique emotion, this job is very flexible, and the flowers can tell a story. Li Qing believes that every flower is alive, and they all have their own personality and characteristics. And every customer's reservation of flowers is a happy and beautiful story, and she is lucky to be immersed in the sea of flowers and beauty every day.
Perhaps because she was bathed in flowers and blessings every day, Li Qing's voice was filled with cheerful laughter. Speaking of her future aspirations, she said that she hopes to have her own flower shop in Chengdu in the near future and pass on her floral concept to more people. She hopes that her flower shop will become a place for people to relax and enjoy the good.
She believes that as long as she keeps her original intention and sticks to her dreams, youth will shine brightly in this city.
Li Qing said that youth is short-lived, and young people should cherish our youth as much as they cherish spring, and love our youth as much as they love spring.
Zhou Lin: Facing difficulties and exploring the possibilities of youth
Zhou Lin is a second-year nursing student at Sichuan University, and a trip to Chengdu after the college entrance examination in 2018 made Zhou Lin from Henan fall in love with the city. Over the past six years, she has witnessed the rapid development of Chengdu, with continuous improvement of infrastructure and more convenient transportation, creating richer and more convenient working and living conditions for young people.

Chengdu attracts countless young people with its unique charm. Zhou Lin said that Chengdu's food is a highlight, and various cultural tourism venues also allow young people to let themselves go and pursue spiritual enrichment.
2025 will be the year for Zhou Lin to graduate and find a job, and Zhou Lin maintains an optimistic attitude towards employment in Chengdu. She said that the nursing profession has a broad space for development in Chengdu. In the future, it will not be difficult to find a basic job to support yourself in a hospital in Chengdu, and there is a high level of emphasis on nursing in the southwest region. In particular, the pilot program of advanced practice nurses in West China Hospital has given nurses greater autonomy. As Chengdu's population continues to grow, so does the hospital, which provides more employment opportunities and development space for medical staff.
Zhou Lin, who is about to step into the society, is full of expectations for the future. She has a clear vision of what it would like to do in the hospital, where regular shifts are the norm, and she may choose to squeeze the subway or commute by electric scooter. When you arrive at the hospital, you change into your work clothes and start your day. She is looking forward to not only realizing her professional value but also enjoying the beauty of life in such a working environment. Outside of work, life is still colorful. Zhou Lin said that outside of work, she will have more control over her life and be able to explore more possibilities in Chengdu. Not only as a healthcare worker, but also as a photographer, food lover, traveler, explorer, and more, Chengdu has given her the opportunity to explore multiple identities.
Zhou Lin said that youth is a time of both pressure and opportunity, just like this vibrant city. Although the competition is fierce, it also brings more opportunities and growth. She feels that young people should not flee or hide because of "rolls", but should rise to the challenge and show the mental state that youth should have.
