The five-day tournament covered more than 200 exciting matches in five age groups from U8 to U12. Shanxi Football Training Base is a professional football training base operated and managed by Huajian Stadium Company, with a total of 10 11-a-side standard football fields and supporting facilities and a comprehensive apartment building, and the only standard football competition venue in the province. After its completion in June 2019, it successfully hosted the football and rugby matches of the 2nd National Youth Games, and is currently the football training base with the largest number of venues and the highest standard in the surrounding areas of Taiyuan, the provincial capital. Since the base was put into operation, it has held many national and provincial competitions and training activities, making positive contributions to the development of football in Shanxi Province.
